General Field Marshal Erwin Rommel nicknamed "The Desert Fox" served under Hitler as a panzer division commander, and i have a feeling there are more references to hitler in the other quests this guy gives.

He was also a close friend with Joseph Goebbels, the Reich's minister of propaganda.

Weren't the bad guys on Raiders of the Lost Arc all Nazi's? I was thinking this whole zone was a reference to that...maybe my mind was still there after the Harrison Jones quests. Now I find out it's referncing Hitler, Moses and Ghostbusters...and surely the quest where you talk to all the stuck up socialites at "Schnottz Landing" is a refernce to the 80's soap opera "Knott's Landing". Guess blizz is all over the map with this zone.

I'm unable to find Commander Schnottz when I go to his landing. Even tried /target and going into Cat Form and tracking humanoids. Are there some quests I have to do before I can see him and start his? Please help thanks, I'm trying to do his quests so I can do the quests more north for the "Indiana Jones" dude to get the blue helm.

they should have made him a gnome instead, then they would be able to fit a quest line that explains the large numbers of evil gnomes that are gathering around eastern uldum. a gnome hitler, tangible proof that gnomes are evil.

on the other hand, if it were a gnome, i would use the /pet emote on it. ah, dont worry what's the gnome 'hitler' going to do, send me to a death camp in gnomeregan?
