These are probably the best mobs to get a supply of knothide/heavy knothide leather on. There are so many of them that you can basically go from one to another one to another one, almost indefinately. Also, though the droprate is lower than other mobs, these are also much, much easier to kill, so you'll end up getting more leather in the same amount of time. Plus you can get the Crystal Powder for Halaa.

The skinning rates on this mob seem to be wrong. From 100 skinnings I got exactly 70 scraps and 30 leather, seems to big a divergence.

Excellent group of these to farm South-West of Garadar, around the small river channels and trees that are there. Coords Approx. 52, 46. Have Fun.

Does a knockback and gores, so unless taken out quickly will knock you back - not a problem, but I found this annoying as a caster when I first encountered them. Still an excellent mob to grind.

I looted Schematic: Power Amplification Goggles ( a blue item i sold for 220g even though the buyout on here is only 6g) from this npc. Although it's not listed as one of its drops. So maybe that endless amount of time it takes to kill so many of these for the Nesingwary quests is way worth it.

AoE grinding these can be a bit of a pain, since they have both a knockback and a spell interrupt, so it's best to keep them well out of melee range.

Alot of these around the river at 51 46, in my opinion, easily the best way to get knothide leather as a skinner.

These are still great for farming Knothide Leather! Best NPC to get them off of! Low level, neutral, and not in a place where a 65 would get slaughtered. Almost all of them drop a full Knothide Leather.

idk what these guys eat but i got 2 epic recipes in 2 days from them an around 10 stacks of knothide FYI epics r storm helm and helm of the stalwart defender

Wtf is up with these things! it dosnt make much sense that an animal has all these rare and epic items. o well the 3000G+ iv made off these things isnt anything to complain about! (had 3 epic plans drop, 2 of them amazingly from the same kill!)

After farming these mobs for their leather I got these:

Tome: Conjure Food IX and Codex: Shadow Protection 2.

I was surprised with these drops.
