It's time for our monthly lore collaboration with Nobbel87! Today's video is all about the history of N'Zoth and the story of the Crucible of Storms raid, the latest raid in Battle for Azeroth. We'll provide a transcript of Nobbel's video in this article, as well as our own links to guides, quests, and opinion pieces so you can learn even more about these characters in-game!
Hello everyone! A little while ago we got the Xal'atath questline leading into the new raid released last week, the Crucible of Storms. Only two bosses to confront, but on stream, we found out that not everyone is familiar with the history and ultimate plans of the Old Gods. So today I’m going to do a quick recap on that history and then talk about the Xal'atath questline, finishing it off with what happens in the raid and what might come in the future... Hope that sounds like a good plan, let’s begin, shall we?!
Dawn of Creation
N’zoth’s origins go back to near the dawn of creation when the dark spirits within the void sought to twist reality into a realm of eternal torment. The Void Lords grew envious of the power of the Titans, watching them bring order to the universe and wake up their slumbering fellow titans.
They failed at corrupting an awakened titan, so they set their eyes on the more vulnerable slumbering ones. Like the Titans, they did not know exactly which worlds contained these slumbering spirits. So they pooled their powers and hurled dark creatures throughout the physical universe, hoping some of them would smash into a world-soul. Their hopes would become a reality on Azeroth and other planets, as the Old Gods (Y’shaarj, Yogg-Saron, C’thun, and N’zoth) made quite the impact, burrowing their tendrils towards unguarded spirits. The elemental lords were enslaved, and their dark creatures built the Black Empire which now ruled the world of Azeroth.
But only for a time. The Old God-infested planet is then discovered by the Pantheon, who tries to save it. Their former champion Sargeras thought that destruction was the only possibility, a decision that eventually led to the path of him forming his Burning Legion. The other titans, however, had hope. Sure enough, they were more than capable of wiping out the planet and the Old Gods with it, but that would also mean an incredible loss of life.
So a massive war against the Black Empire broke out. The enslaved elementals lords were conquered and banished to their elemental planes, but the corruption of the Old Gods remained quite the problem. Y’shaarj, standing tall at the heart of the Black Empire, was so powerful that against their better judgment, the Titans reached down and ripped him out. His tendrils and corruptions ran so deep into the earth that by doing so, it left a massive wound in the planet. Ripping out the others would surely mean the death of the spirit inside, so instead, imprisonment was the better option. N’zoth was the first to be conquered, imprisoned around the area where later we’d find the Well of Eternity and Uldaman. C’thun and Yogg-Saron quickly followed. With the old gods locked away, life on Azeroth had a chance to grow.

Well of Eternity and Queen Azshara
The massive wound left behind by ripping out Y’shaarj was patched up with the Well of Eternity that I mentioned earlier. The Titan spirit's lifeblood is incredibly powerful: its arcane energies and limitless power would drastically alter the lay of the land and the future of a race known as the Night Elves. Queen Azshara and the Highborne used the Well's powers to explore its depths and possibilities. They made contact with the dark Titan Sargeras who was very interested in making his way to our little planet as his fear of a corrupted titan led him on his Burning Crusade. He was well aware that Azeroth had a spirit but traveling there would take him ages. The deal offered was to grant the Night Elf queen and her servitors unfathomable power, thereby allowing them to remake Kalimdor into a paradise envisioned by her majesty. Sargeras requested only that Azshara and her followers summon his agents into the world so that they could give the Higborne this power. Enthralled by Sargeras’ might, envisioning herself turning the world into perfection like she was, Azshara and her Highborne worked very hard to bring the Legion and Sargeras into the world.
N’zoth and the other Old Gods tried to use the coming of Sargeras to their advantage, planning to break out of their prisons. You might imagine that being ripped out by the Pantheon would teach them not to meddle with the Titans, but either way, they were down with this plan. One of their pawns was the Black Dragonflight aspect Neltharion. His close connection to the earth made him susceptible to the influence of the Old Gods. He fell to their whispers and was motivated to create a powerful artifact known as the Dragon Soul, later to be known as the Demon Soul. All of the aspects, except for Deathwing, sacrificed a portion of their power into this artifact to fight back against the Legion's invasion. They had no idea that their brother had fallen, but would soon enough uncover the madness behind Deathwing. He struck out not just at the demons, but also at the dragons and the Night Elven resistance who were trying to fight against their Queens plans. Wielding this artifact had some massive effects on Deathwing, not to mention that Illidan Stormrage found out about it and dared to steal it from the dragon. He had decided to fight against their Queen from within. Pretend to ally himself with Sargeras and the Legion, use the might of the enemy and their well to fight back.
Little did he know, there were other forces at play. The Old Gods had their eyes on Illidan and pushed him in the right direction. Where he planned to reverse the portal and send the demons back to where they came from, quite the opposite happened. A dark aura surrounded him, one that Tyrande could clearly see but unable to warn him about as he had magically silenced her voice. She noted in amazement that the mysterious entities now augmented Illidan’s spell, transforming it into something far more formidable than it would have been. The way was made clear for Sargeras. Despite the Old Gods, Azshara, the Highborne, Manoroth and the Legion doing everything they could to bring their master into the world...the war was still won by the resistance.
In the end, the resistance managed to use the Dragon Soul to reverse the portal and send all the demons back. All that spellwork on the well made the Well incredibly unstable, and the land of Kalimdor started to sunder, split apart into what it looks like today. The Queen wasn’t exactly happy about this; she had not permitted this. Some might have been foolish enough to believe that she had come into power just because of her beauty, but she was also incredibly powerful. All that power was not enough to keep the waters away.
She is Queen Azshara, not a slave. With death staring her in the face, she makes a deal with N’zoth. Her servants were saved by the Old God, which transformed them into the creatures known as Naga, and you may remember the Queen's former handmaiden, Lady Vashj, from Serpentshrine Cavern. Hidden from the world, she and Azshara would quietly build the naga capital of Nazjatar in the cold darkness at the bottom of the sea.

Leading up to BlizzCon 2018, we speculated on how
N'Zoth and Azshara
would make an appearance in the Battle for Azeroth story. Every time we've fought an Old God in the past, it has been as a unified Alliance and Horde. The Old Gods could be trying to divide us, so we cannot stop N'Zoth.
The Crucible of Storms raid also links Azshara to the Circle of Stars prophecy:
When she struck her bargain with N'Zoth ten thousand years ago, Queen Azshara offered one of her most devoted followers into the Old God's service. Now Uu'nat and the crawling masses he commands herald the coming of their master, as foretold by the stars.
Back when "Warbringers: Azshara" was released, we analyzed all the visuals linking the cinematic to the Circle of Stars prophecy. Eyeballs, rings, and lighting in the shape of circles plays a prominent role in the cinematic. You can read our analysis of the cinematic and see examples of the imagery in
Warbringers: Azshara Cinematic Analysis - N'Zoth, Ny'alotha, Circle of Stars, Old God Whispers
.
The artifact book for
Sharas'dal, Scepter of Tides
describes the fate of Queen Azshara, hinting at her pact with N'Zoth that is dramatized in the cinematic.
In our
analysis
, we also describe how some whispers of Xal'atath and the
Boîte à secret de Yogg-Saron
are referenced in the cinematic, such as "In the sunken city, he lays dreaming"
We've also documented
Queen Azshara's involvement in Battle for Azeroth
, which includes stealing the Kul Tiras fleet and working together with Zul. She appears to be destabilizing both the Alliance and Horde forces--perhaps knowing that we're weaker when we don't work together.
We had a lot of fun speculating that N'Zoth and Azshara weren't working together in
N'Zoth Wants Us to Win - Our Test in the Crucible of Storms
.
In Patch 8.2, we head to Nazjatar and face Azshara directly in the raid Azshara's Eternal Palace. She also keeps a watchful eye on us all through Nazjatar. You can read everything about the plot of 8.2 in
Azshara and Nazjatar Broadcast Text
, but major warnings, as this will reveal the meaning of the Circle of Stars prophecy and how the Azshara raid ends!
N'Zoth and Cataclysm
Life on the surface continued, life flourished. Different factions and races came to power on the broken world with many events that the Old Gods directly or indirectly played a part in. Sargeras’ Burning Crusade also continued, leading to the invasion of Azeroth. The Horde also stepped foot on the planet, a great threat at first but a strong ally later down the line.
The Old Gods worked very hard from their prisons to bring the world down through tactics like the Curse of Flesh, Infinite Dragonflight, and Emerald Nightmare, but they found in us a powerful resistance. The Old Gods suffered unexpected setbacks over the years including the defeat of C’thun and Yogg-Saron at the hands of Azeroth’s defenders. They never anticipated such fierce resistance and the rise of such fearless heroes.
But N’zoth...Shrouded in an ocean of fevered dreams, among the bones of nameless horrors, remained untouched by the blades of mortals. Xal'atath whispers:
It is ironic that the weakest of us may be the ultimate victor. C'Thun, Yogg-Saron, Y'Shaarj, and... well. Only one would remain to consume the world, that was always meant to be.
The Old God was certain that Azeroth’s champions would eventually seek it out and try to overwhelm it as they had done to C’Thun and Yogg-Saron. It was not afraid, but it did sense that a window of opportunity was fast closing. The world was wounded by the recent war against the Lich King, time to use everything he had to bring about the Hour of Twilight and rebuild the Black Empire--a time when shadow would envelop the universe and snuff out all life in existence. The events of the Cataclysm were backed up by N’zoth--to use a Blizzard phrase, he "signed Deathwing's paychecks." N’zoth mainly fueled iconic events like Deathwing breaking out of the world, Ragnaros trying to burn down Nordrassil, Al'akir in Uldum, Cho'gall, and the Twilight Hammer, and imprisonment of Neptulon by the Naga.

, and
L’Heure du Crépuscule
to better understand the Dragon Soul story. In these dungeons, you will help Nozdormu clear the timeways, allowing players to retrieve and empower the Dragon Soul, preventing the Hour of Twilight plan.
The Twilight, Black, and Infinite Dragonflights, part of N'Zoth's master plan, showed up in early Battle for Azeroth, which you can learn more about in our
Dragonflights of the Old Gods
article. In Patch 8.2, the
Twilight Dragonflight returns
, and you can even earn a Twilight battle pet.
In the dungeon End Time we encounter versions of Jaina, Baine, Sylvanas, and Tyrande, broken by the Hour of Twilight. Each alternate take on these characters parallels their character development in Battle for Azeroth. For example, in End Time, Tyrande draws upon dark magic, and in Battle for Azeroth, she undergoes the dangerous Night Warrior ritual. You can read more about each character's parallels in

Dragon Soul
Occupied with their own faction conflict, the Alliance and Horde were ill-prepared to deal with these new enemies. Fortunately, these factions were not Azeroth's only defenders. We also had Shamans of the Earthen Ring, Druids of the Cenarion Circle, dragons, demi-gods, and heroes of the world (the players) focusing on the real threat, culminating in the Dragon Soul raid. Here we find former Warchief Thrall; now world shaman Go’el, teaming up with the other dragon aspects to take on Deathwing with the use of the Demon Soul.
Deathwing held nothing back, and the costs on all sides were horrific. Hundreds of cultists and Twilight Dragons lost their lives, just as many of the temple's defenders fell in battle. Their deaths were not in vain though, as it allowed the rest of us to focus on Deathwing. We pursued him through the skies and slowly whittled away his strength. N’zoth sensed that its servant was on the verge of defeat.
The Old God's plans were unraveling, and it made one final desperate attempt to turn the tide. He infused Deathwing with more of its power – more than the Old God had ever given the black dragon aspect before. The influx of energy was so great that Deathwing’s unstable body wrenched apart, and molten tentacles unfurled from his broken hide. Thrall turned the Dragon Soul against this aberration, and to ensure that it would destroy the aspect, the other Aspects sacrificed all their remaining power to the artifact. Their essence, combined with Go’el's element of earth he had woven into the weapon, seared through Deathwing. The explosive power annihilated his tormented mind and body. At that moment, N’zoth’s campaign to bring about the Hour of Twilight collapsed.

N'Zoth and Legion
Those plans might have failed, but N’zoth hasn’t been taken on directly yet, and his minions are still out there. Funny enough his first appearance was revealed not in Warcraft but with a Hearthstone card. We saw his influences play out in Legion through the effects of the Emerald Nightmare. A story once dealt with before in the novel
Stormrage
, but even back then Malfurion knew full well that the threat of the Nightmare was not completely gone.
In this novel, he could only push it back to a small corner known as the Rift of Aln, believed to be where this magical realm itself first originated. The nightmare held firmly in that place, which those of Malfurion’s calling thought bled into the Twisting Nether and the Great Dark Beyond. Gazing into it, Malfurion saw it as a bottomless chasm which radiated with primeval energies that even he dared not investigate. Curiously, only then did he feel that the ancient evil, though it fought to keep its grip there, did so from somewhere deep in the depths of Azeroth’s own seas. It was somehow still powerful enough to keep that one place under its horrific sway. The day had been saved; this other war would have to wait for another, a better, time.
Learn more about the Emerald Nightmare on Wowhead:
Emerald Nightmare
was the first raid of Legion, opening September 20th, 2016.
Nythendra
is a former Green Dragon, turned when Xavius corrupted Shaladrassil.
Elereth Renferal
originally summoned Ivus in Alterac Valley. In the novel
The Shattering
, Twilight Hammer members disguised as the Horde ambushed and killed her in the middle of peace talks with Hamuul Runetotem. She died believing the Horde betrayed her, and due to her anger, resides in the Emerald Nightmare. Upon cleansing the zone, her spirit is at rest, and you can interact with her NPC once again as the
Archdruid of the Valley
.
Ursoc
and Ursol were twin bear brothers who fell in the War of the Ancients, now worshipped by the Furbolgs. In Wrath of the Lich King, it is revealed that the fallen world tree Vordrassil is corrupting the furbolgs in
Les Grisonnes
, who have resurrected and corrupted Ursoc using the magic of the tree (
Ursoc, le dieu Ours
). In Legion, the
Guardian Druid questline
sends you to rescue Ursoc’s spirit, which is surrounded by satyr corruption in the Emerald Dream. This is set up to be a trap; Xavius then captures Ursoc. Guardian Druids wield the
Claws of Ursoc
artifact, and fittingly this boss drops the
Marque du gardien de la clairière
and
Dernier souffle de la forêt
artifact appearances. At the end of the raid, you can find an uncorrupted version of Ursoc in the Emerald Dream.
Il'gynoth
, a manifestation of corruption and madness, continues to be popular in Battle for Azeroth due to delicious speculative whispers and proclamations. Discussions surrounding Alleria/Azeroth/Sylvanas' third death, Anduin as the Boy King, the symbolism of the Circle of Stars, Magni as a pawn, and the Curse of Flesh have all been sparked by this boss' dialogue. You can check out a list
on this NPC page
. Il'gynoth also appears to have ties to N'Zoth, the one Old God we have not directly fought yet in WoW, due to the
Griffe de N’Zoth
artifact appearance drop.
The
Dragons of Nightmare
were first encountered in vanilla WoW as world bosses that dropped Nature Resistance gear--brought back for
WoW's 14th Anniversary
. Since WoW's early days, they have now all fallen to corruption. The Nightmare versions of the Emerald Dragons use abilities reminiscent of their original world boss version's attacks, and notable loot includes
Souffle du serpent immortel
and
Jeune dragonnet de cauchemar
. Once the Emerald Nightmare is cleansed at the end of the raid, you can view the spirits of the dragons at peace.
Cenarius
is found in Nightmare-corrupted Moonglade. Throughout the fight, Malfurion Stormrage assists the raid in fighting Cenarius's corruption. At the end of the encounter, Cenarius falls unconscious, and Malfurion will begin Cleansing all traces of the Nightmare from Cenarius's body.
Killing Xavius is required to loot
Corne du seigneur du Cauchemar
for
Cauchemar d’émeraude : en plein cauchemar
. This is part of the
Apprentissage historique
questline. Killing Xavius is also required for
Terreau onirique
which is part of "A Growing Crisis" for
Le bon Suramaritain
.
Defeating Xavius is required for
Le feu follet et le cauchemar
as part of the questline for
Refuge éternel de la sentinelle
reagents.
In addition Xavius also has some special items:
Ranks 1 and 2 for
Rune de Vantus : Xavius
drop for Scribes
Illusion : Cauchemar
is a new weapon illusion (not limited to dropping for Enchanters)
Formule : Enchantement de collier (Marque du Satyre caché)
drops for Enchanters
Spallières du premier Satyre
is a special transmog item that resembles the boss' armor
Defeating Xavius on Mythic difficulty rewards
Defeating Xavius cleanses the Emerald Nightmare and
Jeune dragonnet du Rêve
battle pets spawn, which can be captured.
Xal'atath, Blade of the Black Empire
That time came with Legion with the Emerald Nightmare. Shadow priests were accompanied by an artifact called Xal'atath, Blade of the Black Empire. It had its dark genesis in an age long before the Horde and the Alliance, an age when the legendary Old Gods and their Black Empire engulfed the world in shadow. There are many theories concerning the blade's creation. The more outlandish claim is that Xal'atath is all that remains of a forgotten Old God who was consumed by its kin in the early days of the Black Empire. Other theories state that Xal'atath is the claw of Y'Shaarj, ripped from the Old God's monstrous form and bestowed upon its servants for use in ritual sacrifices. As unbelievable as these stories are, perhaps there is truth to them. Xal'atath pulses with the foul essence of the Old Gods. It is even said that the blade can grant its owner visions of the Black Empire, but all who have looked upon such horrors have lost themselves to madness. She’s always up for a good chat and when taking her into the Rift of Aln, she says:
“Almost completely gone, as if it never existed. But the rift is deep and vast, and somewhere down there it stirs. Something has changed, the last prison weakens. We must prepare.”
While we did our best to prepare, the war against the Legion continued, ending with Sargeras stabbing the planet and Priests sacrificing their artifact to drain the blade of its corruption. The massive power overload caused Xal'atath to go dormant for a bit which meant we had to go through Battle for Azeroth without her at our side.
In Patch 8.1.5, her quest is available to anyone, with some minor differences depending on what faction you play. You pick up Xal'atath and empower her, whereas Shadow Priests of course still hold Xal'atath and bring her with them instead. The Naga are on the rise, ordered to invade our shores and seize artifacts of power. Xal’atath might be our best chance of uncovering what the Naga seek. Meanwhile, the servants of N’zoth prepare for their master’s return, intending to conjure a scouring storm to wash away all unbelievers. The particular ritual they have in mind requires three ancient artifacts, one of the Void, one of the Storm and one of the Ocean. The void stone is calling to her, but Inanis foolishly believes she can be the one to unlock its powers. Instead, we slay her and then use the stone to empower Xal'atath to track down the other two relics. In the process, she gets a mortal form by taking the body of Inanis.
Her sweet voice guides us to a trident thought lost to the depths, now taken by an ambitious pirate and a crown picked up by Toatana after the fall of Atal’Gral. The temple of the shark loa was brought down by the naga, but the shiny crab took this prize, so we make sure to take it back. The relics are ours as it was meant to be. There is but one more step needed for the great truths to be revealed.
The Naga sought to summon their storm from a place that echoes with ancient power. Though this site has had countless names over the ages, we know it as the Precipice of Oblivion. Delivering artifacts of great power to Xal'atath walking around in a brand new body, what could go wrong?!
You have a choice whether or not you want to keep the Gift of N'Zoth. If you do, you might hear N’zoth whisper to you from time to time. If you don’t and you want to cleanse this curse, you’ll be rewarded with a toy. I really like having this secret society walking around in Azeroth, only visible to those who are part of the same group. It’s a nice touch and let us not forget that Xal'atath has been released from her prison, the blade, and now walks the world once more. Were the other Old Gods responsible for her imprisonment? Is that why she had to make a deal with N’zoth? We know from Blizzcon that the blade will have some part to play with Sylvanas. Some even suggested that it could potentially become a prison to contain the banshee queen, but that will be revealed in the future.

Crucible of Storms
The Crucible of Storms has whispers and madness that echo through its halls. The same voices that drove Lord Stormsong to madness must now be confronted. Those who listen and obey prepare dark rituals to carry out their master’s will. Whatever nightmarish schemes fuel their fanatical devotion, one thing is certain: they must be stopped.
The raid has two fights to master, starting with the Restless Cabal:
Called from the depths to retrieve three relics of ancient power, those relics we collected together with Xalatath, the Restless Cabal is bound to serve N’zoth and attend to his will. Zaxasj speaks of promises and power while Fa’thuul crushes their opposition with brute force. The skinny guy and the big guy as we called them, use the relics we gathered to unleash powerful abilities.
They do not stand alone as adds walk on to the field, a fighting ground we cannot leave for death is waiting around its edges. Our allies are turned against us, and the Restless Cabal do not believe we are worthy of N’zoths gift. We prove them wrong, but upon defeat the darkness down below reveals itself...
The tendril of corruption leads us to the chamber where we said goodbye to Xal'atath and now find Uu’nat waiting for us. The old god enjoys talking and says some interesting stuff. One that had a lot of people speculate on what’s he’s on about is:
You draw closer. Six seats at the high table. Six mouths that hunger. One will consume all others.
Anyone’s guess what he’s talking about. Some suggest the cosmic forces in the Warcraft universe, but personally, I’d say it’s about the Old Gods. Y'shaarj, C'thun, Yogg-Saron, N'zoth, G'huun, and Xal'atath. G’huun is an artificially-created Old God and who knows what Xal'atath is, but considering she does whisper about only one remaining to consume the world, that’s where I’d put my money. However, this is Old God whispering, so the realm of speculation is endless. All the same, the gorgeously-designed tendril leads us to that big beautiful eye and Uun’at, Harbinger of the Void.
“These lowly mortals desecrate your shrine master. Let us drown them and wash away their defiance.”
“Patience...patience. They may yet prove worthy of my gift. I will taste their dreams. Their flesh.”
“Let it be as you command! They will serve... or they will die!"
Encounter Journal Description:
When she struck her bargain with N’zoth ten thousand years ago, Queen Azshara offered one of her most devoted followers into the Old God’s service. Now Uu’nat and the crawling masses he commanded herald the coming of their master, as foretold by the stars.
The relics that were turned against us now actually aid us, a great boon for the fight to come as having N’zoth’s eye upon us makes for quite the challenge. His minions, very similar as in Hearthstone, come with deathrattle-like spawn more adds or deal massive AoE damage. The artifacts can be used to counter them or stop them from happening altogether. With the battlefield shrinking in size, our allies turned against us, and the minions of N’zoth crawling onto the field, it’s quite the battle but all the same... we prove ourselves worthy of his so-called gift.
“Master...they are...worthy...”
“Yes...you are indeed the ones I seek. The ones to turn the tide.”
“Receive now the greatest of all gifts. My dream has become your own. The circle of stars made flesh.”
“She will show you the way. Come...come. The hour approaches when all eyes shall be opened.”

Xal'atath Raid Quests and 8.2
After defeating Uu'nat, the blade that was known as Xal'atath is waiting for us on the floor. As a member of the Horde, you feel a compulsion to bring this artifact to the Warchief. As you present the dagger to Sylvanas, a faint smile curls her lips. For the briefest moment, it seems her eyes darken. A trick of the light, no doubt.
Lady Sylvanas Windrunner: The Alliance believes that by striking down Rastakhan and decimating the Zandalari fleet, they have broken us. That the Horde will soon crumble.
Lady Sylvanas Windrunner: Fools. The boy-king has lied to himself and his people. He hasn't the faintest inkling of what he's truly up against.
Lady Sylvanas Windrunner: War is a living thing. It writhes, it grows, twisting and turning until its final form is revealed.
Lady Sylvanas Windrunner: This war is about to shift yet again. And it will be this blade that guides our way to victory.
She will show us the way while the Alliance merely finds an echo of the blade. They feel compelled to warn the king that the blade may now reside in the hands of the enemy.
Anduin Wrynn: When Sylvanas Windrunner became Warchief, I knew we would not be friends... but I didn't want us to be enemies. Then came the massacre in Arathi... and the Burning of Teldrassil.
Anduin Wrynn: It's clear she does not fight for Azeroth. She doesn't even fight for the Horde. She wages war upon life itself.
Anduin Wrynn: We are so close to ending this conflict and forging a lasting peace. But if Sylvanas uncovers some new weapon that allows her to keep fighting...
Anduin Wrynn: No. We must discover what she's after... and stop whatever madness she seeks to unleash upon us.
Another Warchief obtaining a powerful weapon associated with the void...will we see her hang it up on the ceiling of Orgrimmar, slowly draining its power and changing phases? I really hope not. I hope they got better planned for the story, but yeah this is the end of the Crucible so now it’s time to wait for Patch 8.2. Plenty of datamining has been going on already, some juicy stuff is waiting on the horizon.
For now, the Old God N’zoth is plotting and scheming, Xal'atath is on the loose, and the Warchief will use the blade as a compass. I did find it interesting that she mentioned Anduin lying to himself and his people. There’s an old whisper about the boy-king serving at the master's table, offering us three lies. Is Anduin playing right into the hands of the Old Gods? Only time will tell!
