Considering the mats for this rod, it's usually pretty cheap. On both servers I've played on, this particular rod was cheaper than the others if you take into account the price of 15 Elementium Bars or the equivalent Elementium Ore.

I'm leveling my enchanter now, and lo and behold, there are four of these on the Auction House as I type.~~ As ShadowHamster mentioned, it was flagged as unavailable to players early because beta data got mixed up in live data. At the time I posted this, it was still craftable and still necessary. Obviously neither is true today :)

It's probably listed as "This item is not available to players" Because someone has the client running on beta or the ptr. This item has been turned into a grey. In fact all the rods except for ones that are already runed are greyed because enchanting only requires a runed copper now.

Note: It is available on live now, but if the change is kept it will be gone with the patch. Just like relics and a few other things.
