You really don't want to put this thing on your finger. The Old Gods have "blessed" many things in their time, and it's generally not worked out too well for them. First it was Lady Vashj, whose people became Naga. Then Yogg-Saron "blessed" the Titans in Ulduar, driving them mad. And who can forget Neltharion, who was driven mad by the Old God's whisperings so badly he was reborn as Deathwing. So if the Old Gods offer you one of these blessings, I'd stay well clear.

Although, this thing does have some really nice stats...

True enough, I mean I wouldn't want to be "blessed" by the old gods either. However it does stand as a testament as to what we are willing to endure for an item that has really nice stats, i mean can't you just hear the conversation now.....

"Pssssst Neltharion, its us, the old gods. Listen bud if you create the demon soul, it'll have uber leet stats on it..."

"NO I don't wanna turn evil"

"C'mon.... It'll be like a tier 15...."

"Well maybe I'll just use it in raids...."
