I got this live today and the stats are not accurate.
On live, there is 8 less hit and 9 less spellpower, but a blue socket w/ 5 sp socket bonus.
Of course, I'd much rather my current version.

Debatably the best in-slot piece currently available not through rep for caster dps. The ashen band at honored is also a good choice, though you are sacrificing a bit of crit for a little less than 2% haste, but that socket is nice =)

Dropped by the first boss in Icecrown Citadel from the Lord Marrowgar in Icecrown Citadel (25 man normal mode).

Not bad at all. It's very useful if you've got both tier 9/10 hands and legs and the spell dps Ashen Verdict ring. That way you don't need to worry bout hit. Nonetheless, there are plenty of other better rings, even from Ulduar and ToC, so, unless you want to free up hit slots for better gear, don't bother with this one.

I think that this is an excellent ring, I have no idea what the OP was on about, perhaps he or she missed the gem socket in this thing. If you are hit capped then - sure - wasted points there, but perhaps you will be able to swap gear around and get rid of some hit from somewhere else?

97 + 23 sp = 120 sp.. that's godly on a ring I think
