I don't know if Blizzard realized how awful it was for melee classes to kill those Frostbrood Spawn and assigned this drop to a different mob or what, but I just got one off of a Cult Researcher in Aldur'thar (52,30).

Confirmed once more, the Cult Researcher's inside Aldur'thar (52,30). There are alot of them, took me one room clean for me to get it. About 20 mobs.

Just to balance out the "First kill!" comments, I'm well in to the hundreds, and it's still not dropped.

Just posting something here for luck- and to say you can get this as a rogue from frostbrood spawns. just aggro them on your flyer, lure them to the ground and use killing spree, which should be enough to kill them. It's unpractical, but it's something.

-edit: have been on this for 2 days now, and it dropped 10 min after posting here, no kidding.

As of 3.3, this pattern still drops from the Cultist Researchers in Aldur'thar (52,30). Dropped after about 150 kills.

I got this after about 100 Cult Researcher kills, I really wasn't trying for this, was just farming cloth.

A word of caution: The mobs chain Mind Blast for ~1800+ so if you're like me and run in with 44k hp in tank gear thinking you can just round them up and swipe (like you did for the other patterns) you're going to be gravely mistaken. They also have a knock back as well.

I would swear that in the past while leveling through Icecrown I'd killed my share of both of the mobs listed who supposedly drop this pattern, and never seen it. Nevertheless, when I aggroed a frostbrood spawn and shot it the very first one dropped this pattern. I think the drop rate is better than indicated because this is one of those items only a LW sees.

Utilise: Vous apprend à confectionner une Bordure de fourrure - Résistance aux Arcanes.
Enchante de manière permanente des brassards. Ces derniers augmentent votre résistance aux Arcanes de 70.

Ne peut être utilisé que sur les brassards du travailleur du cuir, et s'il les enchante ils lui seront liés. La bordure de fourrure nécessite une compétence en travail du cuir d'au moins 400 pour rester active.
