This is a great necklace for all healing classes and very few replacements through Molten Core and BlackWing Lair especially for healers who prefer + healing to mana regen. A great necklace for the fact its located in ZG desipte Jin'do being thought of as the hardest boss located within its still farely simply to obtain.

This neck, for priests and druids, is likely the best they will see outside of Blackwing Lair. Personally, if you regularly do MC this boss is worth killing for the amulet alone.

I agree non-specific classes should get a chance to roll on this to specialize themselves, but it should probably go to someone build for that purpose from spec, not from choice first. What you loose is healing power from your class you gain in everything else you can do as a paladin, but a priest, for instance, heals and that's about all unless they shadow spec and leave their destiny as a healer.

And I think priests not taking any damage at all for 90% of the fight makes up for not wearing plate :P

I can understand priests going nuts over this, but this is by no means an exlusively priest item. In my guild (best on the server) during raids priests, paladins and druids all end up in top 10 healing done meters. It's not uncommon that a pala or druid comes in at first place in raids like Zul'Gurub. Not the case in MC/BWL but they do end up in top 5, sometimes before a load of priests. So there's absolutely no doubt for me should other healing classes be allowed to bid or roll on this.

I am not so familiar with druid healing techniques, but for a paladin +healing gear is absolutely primal in end game. After all, check out our epic sets - they are loaded with +healing gear and mana regen. A pala in Lawbringer armor with good trinkets and hide of wild will easily reach +400 healing. Combined with blessing of light and Flash of light this will result in following healing stats:

* Flash of light rank 1: heals for cca 380-420 HP for mana cost of only 35 mana and crits for 700-ish! That is best mana efficient heal in the game! It basically enables a paladin with some decent mana regen to keep healing even after going completely out of mana cause mana per regen keeps just enough of the juice pumping in for it.

* Flash of light rank 5: heals for 680-720 HP for mana cost of mere 140 mana! Critical heal restores about 1,100 HP and costs 0 mana (with paladin talents).

I rest my case.

well...its not like palladins are in ANY way a DPS class because they have one of the lowest melee DPS's in the game....palladins end game are only about healing but in my guild the palladins would normall pass on this to a priest because we heal a LOT more than a palladin does because pally's run out of mana very quickly

Unfortunately the droprate of this necklace is around 5%, even worse this is from the hardest boss in Zul'Gurub. I am half way through revered and have yet to see it drop, and I don't expect I ever will.
Fortunately, when I (priest) hit exalted I get the All-seeing eye of zuldazar for free. I'll grab whichever comes first.
But don't run ZG in hopes that you will get this, you'll go insane. Doing a 4hour instance for a 5% drop that half the raid will roll on (if you use /roll in ZG) is asking for punishment.

My pally has no problem healing 10 man groups himself...Ive upped my +healing by 350ish.... My Current Spell crit is at 17%...AND every Crit heal i score i get my mana back....now THATS Mana Efficiency

if a healing specced paladin loses to a priest in healing durance match, he may as well delete his account and start over. (assume same level of gear) Priests are clear winner for healing done in a short amount of time, but when the fight is 5 minutes long, it is the druids and the paladins that have their mana pool left near the end of the fight.

Excuse me? Whoever said that this necklace is a 'Priest Only Item' is retarded. This is a necklace for all healers,not just Priests. YEs Priests have more Mana than Holy Pallys and Resto Druids,but that does not give a Priest the right to the necklace. In fact,I would love this for My Main {59 Resto Druid,and if I was to get cheated out a it because morons like you think this is ONLY for Priests, I would get very upset.

Thanks to some great people in Kaizen i get to run zg alot with them. It dropped...we rolled...and low and behold...the plucky little dwarf holy pally got it. I am amazed that so many people think that certain items "belong" to certain classes...but...this is how the game works i guess. Anyways it only belongs to your class if it is a specific piece...good luck getting this...i wish you all well

This is a good necklace for any class that heals alot. I'm a druid who is nearly always the Main Tank Main healer in places like MC, ZG, and AQ20. Yes, it would be good on a priest, or pally, or druid, even a resto shammy can benefit from it.

And we wonder why horde > alliance on most servers in battlegrounds..? And because of that, they had to make shaman alliances, and pally hordes to try to balance out the equipment efficiencies.

Nice healing Neck... stats and nice +healing. Both things I love.... I like this better then some of the AQ20 necks i've seen due to this having stats to go along with the sweet plus healing. Anybody know of a better healing neck pre BWL? (or even in BWL for that matter)

I just got it my renew went up from 305 per knock to about 315 I upgraded from lady mayes pendant lost lots of int, spirit, and stam but the +healing rocks

we killed jin'do every week 2 times since zg came out and it dropped once on 1st kill. a paladin got it and he deleted his char a month later... $%^&ing hate this boss

This amazing item drops of Jin'do the Hexxer. Jin'Do is the seventh boss of Zul'Gurub and is known as the "Hexxer". Jin'Do is located next to a pit filled with skeletons at the later portion of the Instance.The guide for killing him, and claiming your phat lewt can be found here:

4% drop rate on nearly 800 kills? ouch, but most likely it's a lot higher, just different people sending in same info from same raid.

My rejuv ticks for 449 and I can't wait to get mine. Had one go to a useless priest who put it in the bank and used a 55 neck piece. He didn't even bring it to BWL.
