The best possible rogue trinket up to AQ40. (Some people think oh wow whats the big deal?) Well 2% hit for a rogue is good because of the fast attack speeds especially for daggers. +56 AP is always good, and 1% damage mitigation (dodge).. which wouldn't make it bad for a dps tank either.

Best trinket in the game acording to a lot of rogues. This is one wicked upgrade from Hand of Justice (found in BRD)

Some ferals also like it and Hunters but honestly I see this being more deadly in the hands of a rogue and there is a lot more BWL trinkets that suit other classes

Combined with Kiss of the Spider, this is probably the best trinket in the game for a Rogue. The passive boost to +AP is huge.

Unfortunately, it is quite a rare drop and desired by several classes.

3 months into TBC and this trinket is still one of the best one out there.
Same goes for a lot of BWL trinkets really Rejuvenating Gem (https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/item=19395#z0z) and Neltharion's Tear (https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/item=19379)

Passive trinkets i.e. no "on use" or "change on" are still the best trinkets out there.

On my spreadsheet, this still ranks 4th best hunter trinket in the game, even above the hunter trinkets from TK and Ashtongue Deathsworn rep. Kind of sad in a way.

yea but all those trinkets except for the tsunami talisman and the hourglass are not passive....so in a way it is still one of the best passive trinkets by far until you hit SSC

Doesn't have any "On use"equips but it beats most t4 dps trinkets. The dodge is meh, but the AP and +hit are phenomenal.

Should I even have to say it? Very well, due to all the changes in wrath, and cata, though even before then, I'd think this be a WONDERFUL trinket for a druid tank. Just place it alongside the AV PVP trinket.

no idea, i would want it myself aswell if i was a warrior for nice dps output.

but! warriors arent supposed to do dps in pve are they? meat shield.
dps warriors(fury or w/e) who outdmg rogues are bad warriors since rogues got skills like vanish/feignt. warriors dont have anything so will end up in them having aggro = they die or need loads of healing.

but hey thats for pve

in pvp it would rock for all melee (and hunter) classes

Feral druids have a talent that gives them +20% mana in caster form. This means that no resto druid will have more mana than an evenly geared feral druid. What did you mean, exactly?

This is a pretty common drop for my guild. Usually drops about 1/4 of the time. Kicks butt on my fury warrior. I think rogues and fury warriors should get this before an MS warrior does. The may do good burst damage, but I've never seen one top a fury on the damage meter or even come close to fury damage.

Yes yes, I got it as guild-first while being a MS warrior, simply a matter of DKP and that I'm stubborn. But as the man below me already stated, I don't maximize the use of it, the +2 hit are much more welcome on the dual wielders but even I can miss, so it's not like all stats aren't being utilised.

Fury warriors DPS like an all green rogue in raids. Fury warriors are a waste of space. two hand MS warriors can do more dmg and don't waste huge upgrades to ROGUES. stop being selfish warriors. you've got several epic trinkets styleen's impeding scarab, onyxia blood. stick to tanking and leave the DPS to the classes that are supposed to. Rogues get ZERO worthwhile epic trinkets endgame other than this and the 'okay' new cooldown trinket that adds uber poison proc rate...which isn't that special.
not to mention the warrior specific trinket...

"Shawnakova" was right. It's for every physical combat class.

The only limitation in addition to this that I'd accept as justified was a limitation to players that actually do a lot of damage in the raid.
This would exclude resto-druids, resto-shamans, paladins, maintanks (which should wear tank stuff).

Just got it off Ebonroc.. Warrior wanted it aswell but I had more dkp so got lucky; as I also got Cloak of Firemaw (50 AP 12 Stam) 30 min before that. <3 the AP boost :)

clearly a magetrinket, the % hit is awesome so our spells get less resisted also is the attackpower nice when we have to go melee on spellbinders in bwl.

This item is really great for warriors, rogues, hunters and now shammies too. Hell even feral druids can put it to good use. However, since it is such a spectacular DPS trinket (even in comparison with loot from AQ and Naxx), classes who do DPS in pve probably get priority. ;p

But it isn't to say that if you are a druid or a shaman that you can't have one, im sure dkp is the final determinant anyhow. ;p

Hunters and MS Warriors who take this over rogues and dw warriors are selfish. Hunter have MUCH more AP than rogues and their % to hit caps much lower than rogues and warriors.

I am a hunter and I got this our last BWL clear. The one before this went to a hunter as well and the next two times it drops it will go to hunters as well. We don't have priority on it, it is open to all classes with DKP, we just have a lot of it, and that is how it works. Quit arguing over who can use it the most. Rogues, hunters and warriors all drool over this trinket. Let DKP decide and be happy when it is your turn :D

Hope you don't mind the karma bomb considering you:

A) Posted something stupid,
B) Posted something in direct conflict with the interest of a class you claim to have played to 51, and
C) Quad-posted it.

This is a rogue/hunter trinket first, if you have to pick specific classes. Warriors would get decent use out of it as well, but more warriors would be looking for more tank-oriented stuff, and that 1% dodge doesn't count as tank-oriented.

An awful lot of arguing over what class this should go to for an item that has the second highest drop rate off this particular boss. Go argue about something like quick strike ring which ive seen twice in about 6+ months of mc.

But seriously though every raid is different and allows different rules you trying to force others how loot should be handled is just ridiculas. If you dont like the way your raid does it yell at them instead. Grats to all the Happy Feral druids and DPS Warrions that have this. Grats to all Rogues and Hunters that have this too it helps us all the same. Screw off anyone that is pissed off at other classes because they lost the bid on this item.

Now cleared BWL more than 32 times and only seen this drop once - the very first time.
I'm sure Ebonroc hates me as it only seems to drop for my guild when I'm not on the raid. :(

Excellent item for a hunter.

Key items to note with similar stats would be:
*Royal Seal of Royal Seal of Eldre'Thalas (our class trinket from book quest)
**Stats: 48 RAP, 10 FR

*Hand of Justice (just nice for the AP)
**Stats: 20 AP, Chance on melee hit to gain an extra attack.

*Blackhands Breadth
**Stats: +Two Percent chance to Crit.

*Drake Fang Talisman
**Stats: 56 AP, Improves chance to hit by 2%, Increases chance to Dodge by 1%.

It is my personal belief that Rogues should not have -higher- prio on this item over a hunter. Both classes can benefit from this trinket in a huge way.

I imagine 90 percent of the hunters who get this will wear either it + class trinket, or it + blackhands breadth. Either combo is fantastic.

Hunters need Ranged ACC, Ranged ATT, and Crit to be effective as possible in end-game raids.

casterform to heal you should get yourself a nice
staff, u can switch weapons in combat so you can
get a good staff and switch it when needed.

only problem is, in my guild at least, the very few times (2) we've had this trinket drop, hunters went all out and hijack it for insanely high DKPs; yeah, i know, if you got the points to purchase it, you've won it..

IMO this is a warrior / rogue trinket.. not a hunter trinket.

56 attack power means a lot less to a warrior / hunter than it does a rogue,

a chance to dodge and 2 to hit is a lot more useful for a rogue or warrior than for a hunter

Im not saying this is bad for hunters, im just saying warriors and rogues can get a lot more from it

Did get that when it dropped for us for the 2nd time. First drop went to one of our DPS Warriors, 2nd drop - to me, feral druid :-) And I absolutely love it.

And yes.. my guild is great. They accept be being feral and I have equal rights to bid on anything I want as rogues/warriors/hunters. I tend to pass on healing gear drops though. Fine with me. I love being feral and I raid as feral. First time we downed Nefarion I was feral whole fight (in feral gear ofc). I've offtanked Phase1 adds, DPSed Neffie and offtanked Infernals/20% zerg. Ofc. When we had Priest Call I was popping caster to support healing with even as little as 3k mana I had.

I've tanked Vaelastrasz (MT1 and MT4), tanked Broodlord Lashlayer, taunttanked Ebonroc. This all is doable for ferals. Only obstacle are people with limited imagination...

There is no way this thing has a 33% drop rate. I haven't seen a single drop in almost 2 months. And apparently only like 2-3 people on our (classic) raid ream have this thing

A guild of mine just released their lootsheet and it prioritizes DFT for feral tanks, then feral dps, then every other dps class, needless to say I won't be raiding there anymore
