Achetez un Oeuf du Jardin des nobles du marchand contre 5 Chocolat du Jardin des nobles. Les marchands se trouvent dans les mêmes villes où on trouve les oeufs.

Allez ensuite placer Oeuf du Jardin des nobles n’importe où dans Hurlevent pour l’alliance ou Lune-d’argent pour la horde.

You can buy a brightly colored egg from the vendor for 5 chocolate. Then use it in Stormwind to place an egg and get the achievement. Then you (or somebody else) can loot the egg and get back one chocolate, and I assume the other items that have a chance to spawn in an egg.

Just to confirm - collect 5 brightly coloured eggs in the noob towns like dolanaar. Open them to get chocolates. When you have 5 chocolates you can buy a Noblegarden Egg from the Noblegarden vendor. Then go to Stormwind. Just right click the egg then click on the ground somewhere to get achievement.

You can then open your own egg to get another chocolate or maybe one of the other better things :)

At this one you need to collect 5 Brightly Colored Egg from the grond around Goldshire / Dolanaar / Azure Watch / Kharanos; then open them to get the chocolates from it. When you have 5 chocolates go and buy Noblegarden Egg from the noble garden vendor. When you have the egg go to stormwind an right click on the ground somewhere in sw. Then you can open your egg to get a chocolate.

The wording on this achievement is very deceptive. It tell's you to hide a Brightly Colored Egg, which is exactly what you are finding. As already pointed out, you have to hide a Noblegarden Egg.

I bought the egg, went to Stormwind city, clicked on the egg, clicked on the ground.....nothing happens. Tried in every district of Stormwind City, still nothing...any suggestions?

For those wondering if this can be done on Horde, it cannot. I just placed an egg in Stormwind on my Horde alt and didn't get the achievement. I'm sure it's safe to say that the opposite cannot be done, either - an Alliance player placing an egg in Silvermoon.

Where to farm? That is the question! Zones are mostly empty on the (Wrath) Classic servers and quite busy at Razor Hill and Goldshire on Retail. Each zone has its advantages and disadvantages for egg farming:

Horde:

Brill: Retail: Great variety of locations, most easy to find. A great place to farm. Wrath: Compact but the shrubbery is very heavily textured, making the eggs rather difficult to see as almost all the eggs are concealed in the bushes.
Razor Hill: Eggs are easy to see but you have a lot of running to do.
Bloodhoof Village: Some very devious / clever hiding of the eggs and a huge area to run around.
Falconwing Square: Compact and although attempts were made to hide the eggs, pnce you get a roll on you will zip through easily. Best for Horde!

Alliance:

Goldshire: Retail: Everyone comes here so respawns happen fast! No optimal route though. Classic: Eggs seem few and far between here.
Kharanos: Easy to see the eggs and your route will be a simple oval. A great location for Alliance, especially Classic!
Dolanaar: Eggs are mostly hidden in dense shrubs and there is a huge running area. Avoid!
Azure Watch: Compact, eggs are well hidden and there is no real optimal route.

Ideally you want a few other players with you as the respawns will come thick and fast and this situation is where Falconwing Square really shines. To see accurate maps (there aren't any here on Wowhead and indeed it is just not possible due to the imprecision of coordinates) I strongly suggest this AddOn by yours truly. It has almost every spawn point in every Classic and Retail zone too! Alliance? Toss-up between Goldshire and Kharanos with Goldshire shading it as its more social/fun.
