the most epic item i ever had was The Lollipop(http://www.cuckhead.com/?item=20388)why?cause -->i was hungry-->its sugar-->it has nice colours-->its from Halloween(creepy...)
The caster dps shoulders from Razorgore on my mage, I had died early in the mind control phase, and it auto-released me, so I couldn't loot. Had to wait 2 weeks for Blizz to mail me the item.
Well, there isn't much of a great story on this one, but my first, and only, epic drop was The Night Blade. I treasured that thing for so long, didn't even bother going for the PvP main hand dagger or any others until recently. Today, I respecced my rogue for combat after being sub for so long. I realized that my average dps output dropped from 900+ to under 500. I wasn't happy. To make things worse when I went back to my trainer to respec, again, to sub I accidently used my last talent point on a talent that I didn't want, due to lag. I'm sitting here writing this realizing how stupid i was in the first place to get rid of sub when I've done it so many times in the past only to come back. Well, the reason why I've told you all this story is that I had to sell my Night Blade to respec again. It's been in my bank for quite some time and although i love it, I love sub more. That's my story!
Ok, for me it was my Runed Silver Staff. It was like "*_* Finally my _PRIEST_ staff!" =DI still keep it in my bank, I just cant get rid of it... *_*
Netherwind Pants, by far. Running MC pugs for weeks on end just before TBC came out to finish my full Tier2 set was one of the most head bashing things I've done in this game.
Once, our raid leader decided that we needed to boost some alts on Karazhan. We've had it on farm for more than a year at the time, and they needed an extra DPS.Well seeing as I didn't have my Engi schematic yet(Stupid RNG!) I went along. We clear trash to Attumen and one person says, "Maybe the mount drops again, lol" Seeing as it had dropped the last week, I told him to "shush it aint gonna drop and you know I want it!" We had a good laugh about that actually ;PSo we get to Attumen, nuke him down, BOOM! Reins of the Fiery Warhorse. After the initial shock and OMGZ wtfz again! etc. we started rolling.People start rolling totally s**** rolls and then this pops up:<Random Hunter> rolls 98 (98-100) :< Fake roll! Nobody noticed this but me tho, lol. With palms sweating, I type /roll... and THIS pops up...You roll 100 (1-100)I was like, o.o.And that was my most epic loot =D
I'd have to say that my most epic moment in wow would've been the time we were progressing on Void Reaver in one of my old guilds on my mage. The fight was going fine, until one of the healers on the MT lagged as an orb came at him and killed him. We were a few healers short that night as it was, and the other healers we did have were extremely under geared, and so the MT dropped after about 30 seconds. I was on my mage, and had just used invisibility to drop threat (was getting really close), so I was on the bottom of the threat list. VR ran around killing everyone when he was at 1%. The whole time i was still throwing fireballs at him. As he turn to me from across the room, i started spamming scorch and managed to kill him with an ignite tick as he killed me. Because I basically saved the raid from yet another wipe, I was given the t5 shoulders without question. No rolling, no discussing, they were simply dropped in my bag. From that moment on till the guild died I was brought to every raid. =)
When Headmaster's Charge finally dropped for me, one of my first epics..and a really low drop rate (1.9%!)
