Mists of Pandaria Loot Tables and Dungeon Journals
We've been holding off on posting the encounter journals and loot tables until they've gotten more filled out. Last Friday's patch, however, seems to have added a lot of data: there are loot tables and a lot more abilities added! The only journals that seem incomplete are the world bosses, which makes sense as they are probably deciding what mounts and rare items to assign them.
Be sure to check out each bosses and their back stories as well--
Saltadizo
is by far the most menacing of this expansion!
Raids
Straddling the mountain range between the Jade Forest and the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, the Terrace of Endless Spring has been a sacred refuge for millennia. Its peaceful fountains are said to have the power to heal and rejuvenate, but when the Sha of Fear attacked, many of the complex's guardians turned on each other in fits of terror.

Riendas del fénix pandaren carmesí
is the model used for the "Pandaren Phoenix" Challenge Mode mount reward, and it's now automatically learned by all players on beta. The animations seem a bit rushed so far, but it's always nice to see a new model instead of a reskinned mount. We recently datamined four colors of this mount model, which we've included below too: click on the images to view them in our 3D Model Viewer!

In today's news round up, there are even more Ghostcrawler posts on class balance that we've organized by class after the cut, clarifications on challenge mode gear scaling, and a large debate on the quality, difficulty, and quantity of available 4.3 content.

In today's news round up, Blizzard confirmed that UI addons will be enabled in the next beta build, and that many expensive and multi-seat mounts like

We also have some new posts from Ghostcrawler from the Beta Class Balance Analysis thread, this time on Moonkins, Hunters, and Ignite-like mechanics, as well as a preview of the new TCG set.
In addition, we have a preview of the Mogu'Shan Vaults raid testing from June 25th, as well as the Encounter Journal. World of Warcraft®: Mists of Pandaria™
March 2012 Media Event FAQ
Q: What is
World of Warcraft®: Mists of Pandaria™
?
Escalating tensions between the Alliance and Horde have broken out into open warfare. The roar of cannons blacken the sky while naval engagements around the globe fill the seas with blood. As the clash of mortal armies spins the world into chaos, a continent -- once shielded by impenetrable mists -- suddenly manifests itself in the southern oceans. There’s no question that this resource-rich new land will be at the center of a global conflict. Will the Mists of Pandaria part to reveal Azeroth’s salvation? Or will this new battlefield become the flashpoint that pushes the Alliance and Horde over the brink into

Patch 4.3.2 Live Today
It has taken its time, but 4.3.2 is finally hitting servers this week!
A controversial patch, this one introduces gradually scaling zone buffs to

There are also several encounter specific nerfs that aim to allow different raid compositions for the instance's final heroic modes and several class balance tweaks.
As Blizzard has said prior

Raid Lockout Changes Being Tested in Taiwan and Korea, Other Regions Someday
So in Taiwan and Korea lockout timers are going to be adjusted to reset twice a week--the interesting news is that these may come to other regions at some point. This is a pretty significant change in store, though they do not have a time frame yet for US or EU regions.
The new raid lockout changes for Taiwan and Korea adjust the lockout timers for the patch 4.0 and 4.2 raids. The lockout timers for these raids will now reset twice weekly instead of once. These raid lockout changes are being made to allow players to raid more often and get more chances at epic loot drops. Players will be able to down current Cataclysm raid bosses twice a week, accelerating players’ progression.
We are testing these new raid lockout changes in Taiwan and Korea first. Our goal is to expand this change to other regions in the future, but we don’t have anything further to announce at this time with regard to North American implementation.

4.3 Preview: Well of Eternity Overview and Dragon Soul Testing
Blizzard hit us with an unexpected testing phase this afternoon of the new raid as well as the final 5-man; unfortunately, the raid was announced right as the bosses went live, so the servers started tanking immediately while everyone rushed to log on. Only a few groups got a 10-man together--most top-end guilds fought the loading screen boss instead, getting 4-5 of their members in the instance before testing time ran out. We managed to get in and take some screenshots, but sadly, the majority of my guild was stuck at the loading bar for the entire night.
All of this is to say I doubt we'll see many good videos, as the streams were fairly disappointing due to guilds like Blood Legion only able to pull trash due to limited numbers--most videos will probably be PUG point of views.
A rocky start, but hopefully we'll have some great testing sessions before and after BlizzCon!

4.3 Dragon Soul Raid Drops
Last night's PTR patch let us see what will drop from the new raid instance, as the dungeon journal was updated for the Dragon Soul bosses finally.
Some notes: the items themselves aren't entirely done nor is this by any means a final draft of the loot and its ilevels. We think the stats are fairly accurate; however, their names are obviously generated with the "Horrific" prefix and some of their text is erroneous, like the season 10 item or the multiple ones that require Avengers' of Hyjal reputation. Still, this serves as a great basis for what's dropping where--as well as what type of boss you'll be facing, lootwise. I mean, Spine of Deathwing is looking like a trinket boss to us!

/>
We are working hard to introduce an exciting new feature to World of Warcraft in patch 4.3: the Raid Finder system. While it presents unprecedented technical hurdles and may change before it’s released, we wanted to provide you with an early look at what we hope to accomplish, and share some details that we’ve worked out, which will lend some insight as to how the new feature is planned to work.

So what is the Raid Finder? It will be a brand new grouping feature that superficially works much like the Dungeon Finder. Instead of five-player dungeons, the Raid Finder is designed to help players quickly and easily form a pick-up raid for a specially tuned version of the current tier of raid content: the Dragon Soul raid. It’s not intended to replace organized raiding though. You’ll still need friends and guild members to help you conquer the toughest raiding challenges that patch 4.3 has to offer.<b

Firelands Changes Coming for Heroic and Normal Modes
Much like the nerfs to tier 11 content, Firelands is about to go through some of its own next week; as usual, Blizzard's logic is solid. It's nothing against those who have completed the content, they want more players to see more bosses before they become obsolete. But how do you feel? Is this too soon, as Ragnaros might say--or just right? Where are you at in progression with your guild?
With the final showdown against Deathwing approaching, we’ve been keeping a close eye on players' progress through the current Firelands raid content. Before patch 4.3 is released, we want groups who are working on Heroic-difficulty content to be able to get as close to Ragnaros as possible, and we want players who are tackling normal progression to be able to experience as many of the encounters as they can. To achieve these goals, we’ll be toning down the difficulty of both normal and Heroic raids through hotfixes in the coming weeks. In general, we plan to reduce health and damage of all raid bosses in both normal and Heroic Firelands by around the same percentage we brought difficulty down for the original Cataclysm raids when Rage of the Firelands (patch 4.2) wa

Heroic Ragnaros Receives a Major Nerf
With only seven US guilds and thirty-seven guilds killing Ragnaros on heroic mode in 25-man, it was inevitable that Ragnaros would get a nerf. The fight was hard and many guilds three healed it for their kill, mine included.
Tonight, the nerfbat finally landed. Mid-attempt for many, Ragnaros' health was reduced--it's a fight based on health percentages for phase transitions, so this will reduce the second phase probably by an entire seed phase, greatly reducing the encounter's difficulty. Additionally, phase four--the heroic mode phase--allows Ragnaros to heal up for 50% of his health. With his overall health changed this much, it means he'll heal up for a lot less.
On heroic mode, Ragnaros now has 74.2 million on 10-man; on 25-man, it's now 246.9 million from its previous 290 million.

Transmogrification Guides: Look-Alike Tier (Updated for 5.4)
In this guide, I'm going to cover sets that resemble tier but don't have any class restrictions. There's a large amount of recolored class tier floating around the nether, except it fortunately doesn't have any class specifications. Blizzard has been especially diligent in MoP to have lookalike options without class restrictions for all tier sets.
We've include many links to our transmog sets, which can be filtered by each tier and include matching belt and boot options. On each transmog page, we also have new

Patch 4.2: Ragnaros 10-man Preview and Strategy
We got a chance to check out Ragnaros yesterday on 10-man normal mode. Seeing a final boss for an instance on the PTR is a rare treat; Blizzard usually doesn't give away the end of the instance so easily and it was surprisingly polished except for a minor glitch with visuals on the platform.
As you might remember from
the dungeon journal entry
, Ragnaros is a three phase fight in normal mode. There's an additional fourth phase in heroic. We were able to get him down into phase three and close to a kill. He seemed a little undertuned, even if it was 10-man normal mode and it is PTR. It was just too easy to get down quickly. This was largely because few abilities were punishing--it was only in phase three and during intermissions which served as phase transition that you could wipe from a single mistake.
We made a quick video to show you the footage of our progress (special thanks to my guild
Out of Line
for being awesome and helping). This video is a rough guide and hopefully will give you a better overview of the fight's general progression. Of course, if you prefer text, there's a

New Site Feature: 4.2 Encounter Journal Integration
As many of you guys may remember, way back at BlizzCon, Blizzard announced that they were working on a new
Encounter Journal
(then called "Dungeon Journal") game feature. This new feature would provide tons of valuable information in-game to players, including detailed dungeon information such as boss lists, drop tables, and ability details. Well, not only is the tool finally being added to World of Warcraft in the upcoming Patch 4.2, but we're happy to announce that we have been able to make all of the Encounter Journal details available on the site, as well!
Now dungeon pages on Wowhead (including zone pages and boss pages) will feature content directly from Blizzard's in-game Encounter Journal! Blizzard has been slowly implementing this content on the PTR, so not all dungeons feature Encounter Journal information at this time, but as soon new entries are available they'll start showing up on their respective dungeon pages.
