The quest description is crap, true enough - but anyhow:

It is the frond up on the building with columns and a big FACE on it (62,71), and the frond has a BLUE FLOWER on it. Aside from the NPCs, it is the only thing up there.

Drudatz hit on it above (the blue plant comment), but people have to start putting more of the obvious markers in their notes, and maybe highlight the more pertinent stuff in their comments so it stands out to readers.

What looks like a small group of Ramkahen stand before Siamat. He says:

Siamat says: You're the last of your tribe with any sense left. As a reward for giving us Prince Nadun, I grant you the gift that is your birthright and more!
Siamat says: Your makers failed you... your flawed race succumbed to the curse of flesh! Lord Deathwing's gift makes you perfect again!

and he turns them into the stone Neferset.

Anyone know if is possible to do this quest without flying skill? I spent like 20 minutes to find that plant, because to this day I never think there is quest that need flying skills.. (have it, but still..)

The cages and questgivers here are the same place in the city where you later fight High Prophet Barim in the instanced version of the city. Siamat (and the purple frond) are in the same place as he is as well.

You have to watch the cinematic in order for the quest to complete. If you exit it early, it won't complete. So just sit through it.

If this quest was on an Xbox 360 game, it'd give you an Achievement!
You need to know what a Fern is, know how to get up to where the Fern is and notice the teeeeeeny sparkles emitting from the Fern.

is it possible to go there without flying? i dont have the flying skill required to fly in that area...

To do this quest:
1. look at the great screenshots to see where to go or read Chuffy's reply to Lolstrom's comment (thanks guys :D);
2. fly up there, find the blue fern and its small sparkles;
3. place yourself behind the fern (the baddies have to be blind to not see you but that's ok);
4. click on the pot;
5. watch the cinematic, even if you have seen it before with another toon;
6. return and turn it in.

Wowheadizmydaddy's comment was seriously helpful. I was flying around trying to have my back to the prince and still didn't figure out where it was. I had the right building too! So look for the face then fly up!

To get on the ledge..... Mount up and fly.

Spent a few minutes looking for the Dust Devil to fly me up. There is none. lol.

I have not yet obtained flying as my (currently when I type this) 83 Warrior. When I wanted to start questing in Uldum and came to this quest, I met a challenge, it being I could not fly to the ledge. I am unsure if there is a path to get up without flying. So with my Hearth on CD and my inability to continue the quest I goofed off with the "Stuck" option.. After clicking it with knowledge from it telling me I would be brought to the graveyard. I then was instantly killed, how tragic right? Wrong. luckily I stood near the base of the platform the quest was continued and when flew back as a ghost from the graveyard I wasable to rez above on the platform.

I hope my tale is of help to those without flying.
Apologies for my grammar and english, It's still spring-break. ;P (Along with a delay from my keyboard to the chat.. and possibly from my head to the keyboard..)
