If you are looking at the "face" of L'ghorek, the entrance is a "pipe" to the right or left of it. There are 2 entrances on each side. The "face" is above the chasm you fought the Nether Fiends and ogre magi previously.

1. Do not go to the same place where you killed the ogres.

2. Float yourself in front of the big shellfish looking straight at it.

3. Go to the left and look for tubes that stick out from the animal ... two of the tubes are tunnels that take you inside.

4. Or you can go right ... there's another set over there.

5. Just go up the tunnel. You come to a big cavern. Look on your map for the yellow question mark. Turn in the quest there.

For clarification, the brain is between the two entrances, so if you come in the right one, you will need to turn left to get to the brain, if you enter through the left one turn right. I sure should have checked here before wasting a half an hour.

If you leave the Scalding Chasm or L'ghorek subzones, the Merciless Disguise will be removed, but it reattaches itself to your head upon reentry--none of that "talk to Erunak and ask him for another disguise" junk necessary!

As a shadow priest while wearing the squid thing, if you pop out of Shadowform it jumps off your head into the air.
