After starting the quest, you are transformed to a goblin courier. If you change form, you lose your courier disguise.

You can find Inspector Snip Snagglebot out side SW's bank.

Note that there's a 2 minute timer on your disguise so don't run around for fun if mind going back for another disguise. Just run out of SW gates and turn left when your out, run down to some crates and once you have a box on your back, head back to where you came from. I did this in 1.30 minutes.

After receiving quest, go outside main gates, to the left. Follow the wall. They will toss you the package automatically. Hurry back to quest giver!
This refers to the Horde quest, received in Orgrimmar, not Stormwind.

FEB 2010 - LOVE IS IN THE AIR

This quest line will unlock "Crushing the Crown" quest which is necessary for Dangerous Love achievement (thus Fool For Love meta achievement).

Uncommon Scent (IF) - pick up from Junior Inspector near IF bank then travel to Inspector Snip Snagglebolt at SW bank. Note: this quest can be skipped by going directly to Snip in SW, but seriously this is easy gold .

+ Something Stinks (SW) - use the "Snagglebolt's Air Analyzer" from your inventory on guards in SW. When you target a guard check if they have a purple buff of "Heavily Perfumed". I used analyzer on the 2 guards at the bank and guards by SW entrance.

+ Pilfering Perfume (SW) - you'll be turned into a goblin, quickly run outside of SW and hang a left against wall, you'll automatically pick up a crate then run back to Inspector Snip.

+ Fireworks at the Gilded Rose (SW) - go into SW inn and upstairs, turn in quest.

+ Hot on the Trail (SW) - run over to the SW Barber shop, then SW AH, then SW Bank.

+ A Friendly Chat (SW) - go to the SW harbor and interact with Snivel near the middle dock.

QUESTLINE COMPLETE
You've now unlocked 2 quests.

Crushing the Crown (Crystal Song) - just below Dalaran blow up the wagon, then kill 5 mobs. This is a daily quest so you can get 5 Love Tokens.

Man on the Inside (SFK) - quest to kill holiday boss in SFK.

For those having trouble finding the NPCs, there are 3 goblins outside of SW gates (just to the left side) that will throw you a box. Just run near them (until you see they throw you the box), then run back to the questgiver.

Run straight out the Stormwind gates and it's on your left. Run back to the questgiver.

Some abilities (paladins Holy Wrath, for instance) break the disguise. You can pick another up from the quest giver.

Also, you can only run forwards. If you get stuck in a corner and can't turn around (like me -.-), you can right click the buff to remove it.

If your alliance the box you need to carry is on the far left side of stormwind gates as your running out. You will see 3 goblins standing around 10 or so boxes which are stacked. I submitted a screen shot to help those of you. :)

When you go out the front gates of Stormwind, make a sharp left and follow the wall -- the "goons" are close to the wall and to the foothills. They can be somewhat hard to see from the gates.

As you exit org hug the wall to your left, run around the tower and you will run into them :)

The disguise you get to do this quest only lasts 2 minutes. When your disguise disappears after the 2-minute mark, the crate you're carrying also disappears.

Because the Bank and Auction House are both right next to Inspector Snip Snagglebolt, the tremendous lag makes it impossible for me to get there and back in under 2 minutes.

Go out the SW gates and hang a left, you will find them next to a set of crates

When you are outside the gates go to your left and they are standing there by a bunch of boxes. When you get a box on your back go back to the questgiver and the quest will be completed. You have 2 min to do all this, if you lose the disguise go back to the questgiver and get another one. Good luck!

You don't want to stop running when you get this quest.

When you transform start running out of Stormwind. When you exit the main gates go to your left and follow the city walls until you see three goblins, approximate coords 78,89. They'll throw a package to you and you just continue running back to Inspector Snip Snagglebolt to complete the quest.

If you're in disguise they'll say:
Time is money, friend. Go go go!
Or:
That crate won't deliver itself, friend. Get a move on!

If you're not in the disguise they'll say:
No snooping around, friend.

If you're looking to buy Crown holiday goods, you'll have to do it at the Lovely Merchant in the city.

This is one of those quests that everyone is likely to abandon once because the suit lasts only 2 minutes. My comp kept freezing and I was lucky to get there just as it ran out.

On the first note, you no longer have to abandon it. You can just go back to the dude that gave you the quest and request another disguise.

You have to literally go out the gates, not go down to the fishing dock where the machine thing is in the way. Outside the doors, turn left-it is not a straight left but slightly backwards along the wall. I for one have likely never been to that little corner in all my time of playing.

To everyone who got confused (like me):
The map on this page is WRONG. Don't go to the docks - run south out of Stormwind, take a left right outside and they are standing around a large pile of crates (coordinates 78.5, 89.6 if you are still inside Stormwind; 34, 47.5 outside of SW). Depending on where you stand, it can be either zone.
