Likely, a nice throwback to the Shifting Sands Quest where Azuregos put the Blue shard in a minnow.

"Ok, let me get this straight. You put the scepter entrusted to your Flight by Anachronos on a minnow of your own making and now you expect me to build an... an arcanite buoy or something... to force your minnow out of hiding? AND potentially incur the wrath of an Elemental Lord? Did I miss anything? Perhaps I am to do this without any clothes on, during a solar eclipse, on a leap year?"

"If I did not know better I would think that you were mocking me, mortal; but yes, that is mostly correct. You may remain fully clothed."

This quest is given by Azuregos at the Northern Rcketway Terminus after you have finished the entire quest line.

Ok..I did the entire chain up to the part where u kill the npc and the dragon (turning the tables I believe) Problem is, after that I cannot interact with Azuregos in any way at all. Anyone else have this problem? I really want that hat lol. I cannot get the farewell minnow quest at all :(

So I did the whole quest chain to get this hat, but after I finished up he wasn't offering the quest to me? What's the problem, is it glitched?

EDIT: Okay, to get the Farewell Minnow quest from Azuregos, you must complete the two quests from the two goblins to the East.

I would like to point out that Sorata Firespinner is most definitely not where the map here says he is. He's actually at about 53, 49, in Bilgewater Harbor. He'll be towards town when you get off the flight path.

The first time i used the hat it turned me into a male goblin then the second time it turned me into a male orc. I am guessing you can turn into other races as well.

Was I supposed to have lost the Dingy Wizard Hat at some point? Because while Sorata was going on about my tossing the old hat aside, and insisting that I keep it... I'm still wearing the original hat. Huh?

At first, after I had completed the quests in the area, this quest (with a !) was not showing up on the mini-map. I waited a while, and then Azuregos the dragon had showed up with the quest.

I have been experiencing very high latency issues since the 4.0.6 patch, so this could be why there was a delay in picking up the quest.

If you are having troubles getting this quest (Azuregos is still flying above the sky, not lying on the ground next to Bitter Reaches goblin rocket tower) and you are max level player (or close), and you did complete other goblin quests at the tower, you probably did Fade to Black killing Malicion in "normal" way. All you have to do is repeating the whole event (even if you turned the quest to Kalec):

wait for Twilight Lord Katrana and Malicion to respawn
engade Katrana and let Malicion to fly up
kill Katrana
wait for Malicion to grab you into the air and watch the show. :)

Then, when you come back to goblin tower, Azuregos should wait for you to hand you new quest. Enjoy!

I had completed the Kalec quest and turned it in (see the quest for solutions to bugging it out) but could not find Azuregos to pick this up, as he was simply flying around the zone wreaking havoc on the black dragonflight minions. When I flew back to the northern terminus however, I saw Kalec in the distance but he phased out as I landed and Azuregos appeared nearby. I was then able to get the quest.

In other words if you've completed the goblin quests and are ready for this quest, just go back to the northern terminus and you should find Azuregos there once the phasing kicks in.

Just picked up this quest tonight. At first I could see the dragon but he had no quest for me. I tried logging out and back in as some have suggested and I tried flying out of the phased zone and back in. Still no quest. This quest did not show up for me until I completed the two quests, Pro-liberation and Ice Cold, that are given by the nearby npcs. So if you can’t get this quest from the dragon, do those two quests and it should show up.

I believe that the name "Little One" is a reference to the Eragon series where Saphira, also a giant blue Dragon, calls Eragon that frequently.

This wasn't showing up for me and I flew away to look at something and then when I went back to this area, Azerugos was on the ground with the quest.

I did all the quest before this one, but Azuregos didnt show up after that. For those who have same problem, just relog and he should be standing there with Kalec now

I did these Quests. Took me a total of 2 Hours 30 Minutes and 27 Seconds. I think it will be much easier for all of you, my Computer is not the Greatest. So. Go get this Amazing Hat! :)
