This questline ends rather abruptly. Since you're in the area, pop into Maraudon and find a "Broken Relic" which starts a quest. It's not the instance you're entering, just the ... foyer. So no need for a group.

While you're killing the Maulers, one of them will likely drop a quest item. This will lead you to Kherrah who is caged, handily, right beside your broken relic which starts another questline. Note: Kherrah questline is also do-able by Horde.

And since you're in the area ... Melizza Brimbluzzle is also caged and requires an escort.

OP: "This questline ends rather abruptly." Don't pay too much attention to the way Wowhead breaks it into questlines. Behind Closed Doors should logically be considered part of the same line. After all, the text for this one says, "You are to search their corpses for clues to Kherrah's whereabouts." The "clue" you find when you do that gives you Behind Closed Doors, so it continues. But yes, it's not the same quest giver as the previous turn-in, so Wowhead doesn't make the connection.

I am not able to get the relic quest, I can find the relic that starts it, but it is offering my nothing. Also the Melizza escort quest like wise will not show up for me. I need one more quest in Desolate and can't find a thing! Driving me mad. I know there are others that I can't do. Put in a ticket and "they know about the problems and are attempting to fix them". Great guys, one quest off!

I'll be honest, the Khan quest line post-Cata is not stitched together very well. Pre-Cata it had story, purpose and outcome, albeit confined in it's own little Desolate place, and the grind was ridiculously tedious. The only reason Alliance went to Desolace in the first place was for the Scarlet quest chain and Maruadon, then later on, the achievements. As for this quest, I did not see the manifest right away in my inventory nor was it clear I even received one. I thought the quest line just sort of petered out ... Anyway, many of the post-Cata, old world revamped areas and quests are kind of a mess: sloppy story lines, lousy to non-existent links, bugs and inconsistencies. I won't say I miss the old content or hate the new content, just that I wish the post-Cata content was better thought out and the tie-ins were clearer. End of rant and off of my "old guy" soap box.

This questline is a prerequisite for the quest chain starting with 被囚的公主.

Having this final quest will allow 玛洛迪囚犯名册 to drop from 玛洛迪虐待者, and so start the new quest chain.

It turns out when you complete that is a little salty about the idea of joining your cause against the demons after you killed all 3 of his sons. (Who woulda thunk it? 🙄)
But not to worry, apparently he has a daughter as well.
Let's call her Deus Ex Machina. 🤦‍♂️

The Quest Objectives state: "Khan Shodo wants you to kill 10 Maraudine Maulers ...".
Yet in the Quest Description he says no such thing, only that you must bring her back alive. 🤷‍♂️
(At least unlike with the Magram, these centaurs don't remain hostile. They become neutral so you won't have to fight you way in and out each time to talk to the Khan.)

This reeks of a rushed, poorly thought out quest line.
And it's not the first time in this zone where I've been left with the feeling: Hey, wait! Where did that come from? What did I miss? (No I didn't miss anything. The zone just lacks any form of cohesion.)

It's all the more jarring and disappointing coming off the back of the very good 石爪山脉 quest lines.
It's almost as if some blizzard bean-counters forced a premature release date on developers long before they were anywhere near ready. 🕵️‍♂️
We will always be left wondering what might have been if Cata 2010 hadn't been rushed out early.
