A very fun quest. The NPC steers the horse while you sit on the back and try to keep the worgs at bay. You have three skills to use - one of them throws out some fire at a targeted area, the second speeds your horse up for a short time and the third is a thunderstomp-like attack that damages and slows down the enemies following you.

Always try to use the speed boost whenever it comes up, but doing a stomp and then hitting it can get you even more breathing room. The fire attack has the shortest cooldown so just keep spamming that the whole way. The ride is sort of long but you shouldn't have much trouble surviving.

I thought this was a very nice twist on a vehicle quest.

Yes, this quest is a lot of fun, im am sad to report, however that if you get dismounted it doesn't appear its possable to complete the quest. i was dismounted, and able to freeze/stun/root them long enough to get to the encampment however i think due to the npc not making it, i didn't get credit.

It also appears that he keeps going though rough terrain which slows you down and makes it easy for you to die.

Two tries, and the second didn't even get as far as the first.

I'm forgetting about this one until I can get half my guild to help.

I completed this on second try, but my nerves where wracked. This quest is really intense. Too much for my taste. Especially because if you fail, you'll have to ride a looong way back to the Silverbrook camp.

One tip regarding the fire attack: Place the target area slightly before your horse. This will compensate for the movement of the horse and the mobs and the trajectory of the attack.
