I would definitely recommend these drinks for anyone that is not a mage and that uses mana as a resource.

I was going crazy tonight trying to figure out where there was any mana drinks for lvl 55 for my Holy Paladin and I stumbled upon these and stocked up so I wouldn't have to make the wayward trip back out to AV.

is this item usable outside of alterac valley? If so this is probably one of the easiest ways to decrease downtime when a mage is not present

I just checked - These are consumable anywhere and aren't limited in how many you can carry. Definitely very handy when Mage water is unavailable.

Thought I'd better upgrade my hunter's water supply (lvl 45 stuff wasnt good enough) and this is it...>< Just this. Unless you happen to have a high lvl mage about to conjure some up whenever you need it!

In terms of percentages, a single 奥特兰克泉水 restores 4.76% more mana than 魔法晶水. In my humble opinion, a ~5% increases is rather significant. In terms of mana per tick, both drinks cause 10 ticks of mana regeneration, which means each tick of this water restores 21 mana more the conjured alternative.

You can buy this from the Alterac Valley vendors both inside and outside of the battleground once you reach Friendly with either 雷矛卫队 or 霜狼氏族. A stack of 5 waters has a base cost of 50 silvers, but once you reach Exalted & PVP rank 3 (Sergeant), you get a total discount of -30% lowering the cost down to a mere 35 pieces of silver. A stack will then cost only 1.4 gold, and a single water costs 7 silvers. I recommend stocking up on these any time you're in the area, as they are the premier choice of mana replenishment for all classes, including Mages.

The +10 Spirit buff is instant, but it does not stack with any Well Fed buffs. Any stronger Well Fed buff with Stamina/Spirit will replace it, and the Spirit buff itself will only overwrite stronger buffs as well, meaning you can conveniently eat a 嫩狼肉排 and keep drinking without losing your superior buff. Unfortunately, though, I don't remember if it overwrote 夜鳞鱼汤's buff.

You can also eat 塞金之根/煮蟹爪 while drinking it for a 6.67% increase over the regular 奥特兰克泉水 alone. Both of these only count as food items, so you can drink while eating them.
