If I buy the Hex Sticks from the AH, and go through the instance (in stealth) to get to the Altar... will he still drop?
I don't kill anything, just wander about this area in relative safety de-hexing (and pick-pocketing) the yellow mobs.

Am I wasting my time or using my cowardly ways to my advantage?

do not kill it use the amani sticks of mojo on them and they turn into people that give you items
