two manned the whole chain with resto drud (some old badges items and 2 t6) and DK tank both lvl 78. sometimes was close but still easy. DK was pve unholy without anti magic zone which lacks survivability against magical damage

Pretty easy to do. Did it as a rogue with a disc priest and frost mage. Good thing to remember is to run out of the aoe range when he does the fire shield. Other than that, just dps dps dps

For some reason his Ember Shower spell disconnected me from the server, dunno why.

He's really annoying to fight. For every 10 seconds or so he will go up using his fire shield and be unavailable to attack with melee while raining down ember sparks also while firing off ember sparks which hit for about 400-600 damage every tick. I solod this as prot but it took a very long time with lots of mana being lost constantly and not being renewed. You can avoid the ember sparks while soloing if you run out of range and then you can bandage.

Soloed as a level 80 hunter, no lie, swear on my life.

My stratgey was, BM 56/MM 15 (Had Exotic Pets)

What I did was get a worm and train its talents to be:

Thunderstomp: Does Slight damage to enemy and gives some extra aggro

Great Resistance 3/3: Reduces damage taken by all schools of magic by 15 % (Help against his dot and ember shower AoE)

Avoidance 3/3: Basically to stop the ember shower AoE from dealing like 800 damage a second to my pet.

Blood of the Rhino 2/2: Gives pet 4 % more Stamina and allows all healing effects on the pet to be 40 % more (Mend pet heals 1125 without it, 1650 with it)

Pet Barding 2/2: 10 % more Armor and 4 % chance to dodge.

(Bring Some Heavy Bandages to, he sometimes hits you and this will be your only way to stay alive, only use during ember shower.)

Ok, at the start of the fight, just burn him down to 95 % quickly, don't pop CDs

Then, he'll go up in the air and you let your pet attack him since it will only do 100 damage each hit to pet because of Avoidance and Great Resistance.

After that, he'll start to apply the dot, if your pet dies, don't worry and quickly burn him down another 5 % so he flies up, get a safe distance away and resurrect pet, heal your pet, and then go back to fighting. Repeat this and he will eventually die.

(And if your pet gets low sometimes, just use distracting shot and pop deterrence, gives pet back 3000 health from the mend.)

for reasons unknown, this blood prince does not appear in the blood prince council encounter in icecrown citadel.

the blood prince council consists of prince valanar, taldaram, and keleseth only.

You kill the others elsewhere too. Keleseth in UK, Taldaram in OK, and Valanar in Borean Tundra.

80 holy Paladin in 90% ICC10/25/T10 Gear. I grabbed this quest when I was leveling, but tried to solo it back around level 78, which I failed. I came back today, Very more geared and started to solo this quest line/event. The first 4 were easy. I never went below 30k Mana. The Guy right before this one, Thane Deathblow, gave me trouble, he hit VERY hard for me. I would of ended up running OOM if it wasn't for another level 80 Paladin close by that seen I was in distress and came to help around 55%(While I was about 30% mana). So I suggest atleast doing the first 4 if you are a decently geared holy paladin.

I tried to solo the Prince Just now, did not go so well. I figured as much because the fight before this didn't go so well. 2 80's will not have a problem duo'ing this, as long as there is a healer.

Soloed this with a Ret paladin in heroics/icc 10 gear. Not too hard. Just use fire resist aura+Seal of light+judgement of wisdom and heal when you can't attack him. Use wings when it's rdy and you got it. Bring a mana potion too. It helps.

Just soloed this as a level 79 blood DK. its really quite easy just run out of range from his fire barrage with anti magic shell and bandage urself and you will be fine.

I absolutely cannot see this NPC without thinking of the Xoan Ambassador from Oglaf, and wondering if I can distract him with croquembouche...

Just solo'd him as a brewmaster monk.Pretty easy fight, the start is abit harsh, but when you get to the part where he uses your shield, you just use roll to escape, heal yourself abit,enter the fight again with guard every time until he's down :)
