I usually play a healer role in RPGs. I like having the responsibility of the rest of the party in my hands and it keeps me honest since when I play damage, I have a tendency to let my mind wander during really long fights.
I usually play caster dps classes. the caster dps class for Amular is AMAZING. A lot of fun to play :D

I normally play some sort of ranged dps, whether it be a caster or bow damage dealer in RPGs.
Warrior, just me, a big weapon and legions of enemies to slaughter!
always ranger/hunter
2H Dps Warrior All the way <3
I usually just play a caster, or caster/melee class in RPG's.
Usually play the Rogue Sneaky Assassin type classes. Best way to go imo.
Caster DPS is what i do no matter the RPG, whether it be MMO, Pen and paper, normal RPG's
I almost always start with a rogue/assassin type, but I usually end up trying everything.
I would normally play a sort of rogue-mage in a single player RPG and a healer in an MMORPG
I always play a caster-type class, or if I feel up to it, a hybrid. But I favor casters. I don't generally always play the same class in all MMOs. Takes me time to research and figure out what I like - usually though healer or tank (caster tank is fun!).
I've never been one to stick to a specific role. More often than not, this has resulted in getting the most fun out of a hybrid/multi-class character. Rangers, blackguards, and the like tend to be where I have the most fun.
A jack of all trades, when applicable. If I have the opportunity to do everything, I sure as heck won't pass it up.
Depends on the game:Given group RPGs (like final fantasy) i prefer the warrior type, big 2 hander smashing through things. When it's more skyrim or first person type, where possible my preference is on a sneaky and/or archer type character.I prefer to either be able to take my time and shoot, or be quick and smashy about it, I've never been fond of running in head first and shooting, or trying to hang back and hack away at them with a sword.
