I am Arkaen, and I don't play casters. Generally I play a damage-dealer role in melee combat, and I have two settings: KILL ALL THE THINGS, and AVOID ALL THE THINGS. Rogue classes usually suit me very well!
This is a fantastic contest. I usually play a warrior type class. Tank if applicable or just full on melee class. Such amazing prizes, thanks for this chance!
When playing an RPG i always try to go for the Knightly/Defender type of role, a warrior thats more defensive than offensive. I also try to get the "lawful" path if the game has an alignment system. If its a basic warrior, rogue, wizard rpg though ill go rogue. Cant wait for KoA:R it looks amazing and the demo was awesome (beyond the bugs).
Slipping through the shadows, dealing killing blows to those i encounter. but never taking the enemy for granted, and always having a backup plan for risky situations. A Rogue would have to be the class that most suits me. Although i am attracted a bit by the powers of a caster, and the wondrous things one can do with such power. All in All a class that merges with Darkness itself.
I used to be all out for ranged dps in any game. I liked archers especially. About two years ago or so I started a warrior phase and now I'm starting to like mages or anything magical. I still like my archers. Amusingly though my Hunter on WoW is only level 20 or something, haha!

I always play a thief or rogue, weak but fast with high charisma.
If i had to pick anything it would probably be a Melee Caster mix with the ability to either tank or DPS. a Spellblade so to speak. I don't often do the Stealthy rogue types but i might try it if those Omnitool special blades are for rogue types only.
I usually play a mage, or occasionally a rogue-type. :)
Always a caster, sometimes a healer but I love being a mage/sorcerer the most
I often try to play a class that can take the battering from hand to hand combat and also is capable of casting spells, such as a Cleric (or Favored Soul luls) in Dungeons and Dragons. In short, I like trying to be a jack of all trades that can be self sufficient or helpful to others (ironic because I play a Hunter in WoW...but I digress...)
I always always pick the ranged archer type class in MMO's so WoW was a hunter, SWTOR was a trooper, and definitely playing the rogue ranged archetype in Kingdoms of Amalur!
I always go for the ranger type, I love attacking at range, hate taking damage, and pets are always a major plus.
I am always a caster. Wizard, Mage or Warlock type. Shocker my main is a lock huh?
I usually play two handed mele player, BUT if there are any electricity spells I will add that to my rotations. If not just a hardcore warrior
I enjoy being melee with a sword and shield in RPGs (though not necessarily MMO's). I don't know why exactly, but there is something about blocking and then countering attacks that feels fun and engaging to me. I also sometimes throw some magic in there, if a game allows me to utilize it without giving up melee related abilities or prowess.
Healer. Not sure what it is but that probably speaks to my personality a lot amount.
