Hopefully around Halloween to fit the spooky theme :)
I really don't see Beta running from next week till December... Then again idk, If I had to guess it would run from next week till Oct and Launch Novemberishhhhh. Again my guessing.
The reveal literally changed nothing. We all already knew the game would be coming out within that time frame. Would have liked a specific date, but I guess it'll depend on how beta flows.
? So we dont have a date yet?
Not yet and probably won't for couple of months or least 2 into beta
I'd say mid October pre patch and a month later SL launches.
I'm gonna bet it'll be around so that Nathria progression can do its thing for the Mythic raiders before the holidays.Even if Nathria waited till 2021, people would still need to go crazy on gearing and all that during the holidays, and I don't think Blizzard would wanna do that either.Personally gonna hope for early November at the latest. We'll see.
Just 4 more months of BFA!
I really hope it's somewhere during the 4th quarter so I'll have time to get gold for my brutosaur. I'm halfway there.
actually its oct-decthey said fall but they also stated Q4 so we can cross off september (unless we get lucky i hope) and cross off DEC because that would confuse so many people worldwide since most aren't technical, they see Dec as Winter. November is seen as the end of fall in most places as well so October is a safe bet, nov-dec is stretching it. Also depends on how bad irl gets because if they really want to boost childrens morale during the holidays since Halloween may be likely canceled due to covid19 rising once more and going to be its worst in fall stated by WHO and CDC and so on, a good strategy to be an alternative is to spend Halloween and the holidays in WoW which is safer than visiting strangers houses and traveling during the pandemic. Just my opinion though.p.s. Blizz won't do raid tiers in December any longer so that may disqualify nov-dec because raid teirs don't have mythic mode at the start meaning if it was november mythic mode would barely be starting in december. Also alot of blizz staff is out during the holidays lol.so process of elimination again is OCT, since sept is not Q4
Yeah, if I had to guess, I'd put my chips on early to mid November. Don't think it'll go into Dec.
I know a lot of people were originally guessing from when the Corruption Resistance maxed out that pre-patch would be in August sometime with expansion in late Sept. With Covid-19 and everyone working from home I imagine it's probably been delayed significantly.Oct or Nov wouldn't surprise me at this rate.
They seemed to be pressured, like "We know you think we won't make the deadline, but we'll ship it even if it's from home!"That attitude, to me, means that it'll be mid December. >.>Sorry bout it.So, pre-patch for the next anniversary?
I've been saying "US Thanksgiving week" ever since Blizzcon, it fits, but for technical reasons I can see it being a week earlier in mid November, so the office has more employees for potential launch difficulties.
Can't wait!
Not surprising that the "release date" is still a "release season" -- and may stay that way. Game studios that aren't used to high levels of telecommuting have been thrown into much higher chaos and uncertainty with all the COVID changes. Development may or may not slow down -- depending on what the productivity/distraction ratio is for your staff at home vs in-office -- but iteration, testing, builds, and anything that requires cross-team interaction, high security, or large builds are much slower working remotely.Hopefully, they've adapted well and can stay on schedule.
I would prefer January release but November is acceptable. Please no earlier than that you need time to fix so many things.
