Having LW as a bis profession just because of the 15% move speed is kinda wild. Tailoring/JC/BS are all much much better for your character than 15% speed for your raid.
So many incorrect links and using WOTLK versions instead of the correct Cataclysm ones (like Lightweave Embroidery).Did this get proofread at all before it was rushed out?
I'll stick to Mining and Skinning on my Paladin, especially week one of the expansion. Lots of $ to be madeEdit: Oh god the Shadow Priest one is SO broken lol. Scuff is on brand for Wowhead I guess.
I'll choose whichever one has my spells hiding in it since they're in the professions tabs and not spell book.
Synapse Springs and other tinkers may be broken on beta. Not getting discovered from crafts
This entire list is just slop. Recommending Blacksmithing for some then recommending JC for others, recommending lw ONLY for drums. Literally all they needed to write was: JC > BS till T13 then BS > JC OR Tailoring + Engi OR alchemy for all the specs chosing the one of two in the slot thats better, like Mage? Tailor/Engi. Prot pala? JC/bs + Alchemy.
wow engineering for everyone huh. fun and interesting.
Looking at it, its like the "Author" just used AI to scrape various guides that already existed
Seems like you could have saved a lot of space by saying "Engineering for everyone" instead of listing it 18 times with more or less the same information each time.
I recently began a discussion in our discord concerning late end professions. The argument against my position was a link from this guide section so I figured it best to bring my perspective here and see how it goes.Once epic gems are available, specifically for warrior dps, these gems would give 50str or 100ap. Blacksmithing provides 2 additional gem slots with a static gain of 200ap. This, again, is specific for dps as the raw str does provide parry which could begin another discussion for professions concerning blood dk but that isn't the topic for today. Tailoring provides 1000ap on a 55s cd with 15s uptime etc etc. With current kill times I've seen uptimes of near 24%, does this not indicate for an individual with say 23% uptime they averaged a bonus of 230ap? With kill times decreasing the 1000ap proc I would think would begin to further win out.My math could be wrong, see below. There are 55 seconds per cooldown cycle for the tailoring embroidery with 15 seconds of uptime on the buff.Divide 15 seconds by 55 seconds, and you get 0.272727272727272, which is equal to 27.27%.As such, the starting point of 1000 is averaging out in a perfect world at 272.72, but in our real world closer to 230 currently.
