seems a little late for this, with the challenges going away in just a couple days.
Is it a couple days, or a couple days and a week? Any chance it's on the 17th and not the 10th?
Probably the 17th...
Oh cripes, I was thinking I had to Aug 13 to do stuff. Didn't realize the patch hits earlier.
July 17th makes the most sense for a prepatch. :)
Considering they haven't announced the solid actual date for the end of the PvP season, and the fact that there's the World Arena Championship Finals next weekend, the 17th is the most likely date for the 8.0 pre-patch.I really doubt they'd put out such a major system overhaul patch a few days before those finals, and they always give a solid actual date instead of just Soon TM for the end of PvP seasons. (and they did only say Soon TM in the post announcing the end of the last Legion season)That said, I'm paranoid and gonna be pushing to try and get my last 8 done Sunday and Monday just in case.
already have all 36 mage tower skins, just relaxing till prepatch.
indeed good guide never to late for those who need to finish whatever needed gl
Man people have all of them, and i can't even get ret pally at 941 w buffs.I knew i was bad at the game, but not that bad.
I just completed the druid tank challenge with a mix of 935 argus crafted gear, world boss drops, relinquished/sullied gear and crafted leggo. Mind you I did all of the tank challenge before Antorus and have completed 3/4's of all challenges overall...but it's totally doable to do these with minimal effort as far as gearing goes. I hadn't even stepped foot into a legion dungeon at all on my druid. Also there is basically no chance at all that the pre-patch is going live any sooner than the 17th. I wouldn't be shocked if it's held off until the 24th actually. I know most of you live in this bubble where this is just a PVE game but they just simply do not do major release patches in the middle of an Arena season without at least 2 weeks warning of the actual date that the PVP Season will end and barring shorter arena seasons that's not going to change.

Anyone else think it's a bit annoying/almost insufferable that you still need to do the prerequisite investigating the legion quests at this point? Most of the quests are fun the first time 'round, but the second through the fifth not so much. Xylum's one is even worse, taking 35 minutes if your alliance due to the travel time and needs to be done on 5 specs for well over 2 hours of suffering.
