The Mage Tower is not yet available for testing on the Patch 9.1.5 PTR, but we have found three new achievements related to the
upcoming Legion Timewalking activity
. The
Soaring Spelltome
mount is presumed to be awarded from
A Tour of Towers
, while the Feat of Strength
Tower Overwhelming
is most likely an extra achievement for completionists.
NEW
Complete every unique challenge available at the Mage Tower during Legion Timewalking.
NEW
Complete a challenge for any specialization at the Mage Tower during Legion Timewalking.
NEW
Completed every challenge at the Mage Tower across all classes and specializations during the Legion Timewalking event.
We previously learned that the return of the Mage Tower would
not
award the same artifact skins it did originally, but would instead feature recolors of Tier 20/Tomb of Sargeras raid gear sets, with a special Fel Werebear recolor for Guardian Druids. We also learned that the
Soaring Spelltome
, one of the runners up during the Shadowlands Mount Contest, would be given to players who complete all 7 of the new Mage Tower challenges. It is likely the mount will be awarded from
A Tour of Towers
, while the Feat of Strength
Tower Overwhelming
will be an extra achievement for completionists.

Look up ex post facto and think about why retroactively adding rewards for effort is a dangerous game.
They failed at making one back then, yes. And they rectified that by making one now. But that doesn’t substantiate the need to make one back then.
You have all your appearances and the strutting rights (just like how crossfitters like to brag) all since bfa pre-patch started.
This isn’t like getting alot of rank 4 essences in bfa but still being short of one more needed for the azeroth’s champion title. Which would entail all the prior work is wasted since no one uses essences anymore, and thus aren’t able to be flexed on others. Thus meaning your effort was not wasted and you don’t need anything else from blizzard to signify your success.
I´m still going to keep my point. It doesn´t hurt anyone, right? If you deserve something, you deserve it, if not, you don´t. If Blizzard decides to award CE-Players who have earned every CE sind they implemented it, that´s okay for me. I won´t get the reward cause I wasn´t interested in raiding before Antorus, but if Players had that dedication and are still showing it, I actually agree that they deserve an additional award besides the FoS they already have + exclusive titles. Simply because, why not and how does it hurt me? Not at all, only negative thing about it would be IF I were like "if I can´t get it, no one should get it" and that´s the only reason I can see why the community is against retroactive rewards. This is the way real life works as well. Some things are limited, be it in the amount or in the time available and if you don´t get it/participate in it or whatever, you are not getting rewarded. End of Story.

This is a joke, right? I did all 36 in legion, now I have to do all 36 again? That's a no for me dawg, better make that retroactive.
Ex-post facto rewards are cringe.
Quid hic sodalis dixit? nullam res intellexi, nam hyphen in lingua latina non reperitur. id est, prapositionem nunquam iungemus cum nomine. itaque Ex-post est magna menda. Omnia didici cum world of warcraft inutile desinerem ludere ac latine coeperem discere
