My missions are where I make most of my daily gold. This will help very much!
My gold guide has been updated to include 6.1 for while now. In my sig.
There are pvp related missions which throw off your numbers some. I believe that there are horde and alliance specific versions and you're counting both. AFAIK, if you never pvp then you'll never get those missions so they may also be padding the stats of certain counters over others. The second argument is a bit like the mythic caches, though the mythic caches have importance simply because of how much gold is rewarded.Anyway, I counted these missions up just the other day and the numbers I get when pvp and mythic cache missions are excluded are:danger zones 17 deadly minions 12group damage 10magic debuff 11massive strike 18minion swarms 14powerful spell 14timed battle 11wild aggression 18I haven't figured out my strat yet (still want to do a pass looking at just the more lucrative missions) but I know that I want to be able to put 3 treasure hunters into the blingtron 5k mission which means I need 3 followers that can cover deadly minions, group damage, massive strike and minion swarms.
Weird..never saw a follower mission award more than 100 or 200 gold.
You have to be careful though because according to wow certain addons can change the amount of gold received. I have been having an issue where the reward shows a certain amount but when I claim the chest it changes to a lower amount. I submitted a ticket in game as I noticed this was only happening when the gold reward prize was over a certain amount. Was told that my addons are affecting it and gave me a bunch of steps to resolve the issue and it still hasn't corrected.
If you have the version 0.35 of Masterplan you can add the following lines into the File Interface\AddOns\MasterPlan\MissionsUI.lua at around line 2507 so Masterplan also optimize your followers for these mission. I only added mission which reward at least 100G and have two or three followers.
On 79 possible missions (substract "same counter combo" like: conquest or honor missions)A) If you aim at getting more coverage + non-rare mission:**********************************************************************Top most usefull abilities ( based on overall occurance + non rare) are:1) Wild agression2) Minion Swarms / Timed Battle (tied)3) Massive StrikeFiller : 4) Magic Debuff5) Deadly Minions**********************************************************************B) If you aim at covering rare and difficult missions===============================================1) Wild agression2) Massive Strike 3) Timed Battle 4) Minion Swarms===============================================Conclusion: try to get ALL abilities but aim first to complete non-rare missions because they will spawn more often . Also A and B don't change that much. (It will be awhile to get all followers to ilvl 660)Imo getting at least 10 Treasure Hunters , 8 epic mounts, 7 scavengers should give you the best results at epic lvl.Bare in mind that scavenger gives 33% gold when garrison ressources are converted.
made almost 10k in 4 weeks with 3 treasure hunter followers and the salvage yard
It's worth mentioning that the Jewelcrafting building offers a daily that rewards anywhere between 150 to 300 gold as long as you have a follower active at that structure. Even though this isn't a mission it's still a great way to generate gold daily and you don't have to have jewel crafting as a profession in order to use it.However, my gut tells me that this may be nerfed at some point in the future... Blizzard has a habit of ruining a good deal.
very useful
Awesome! Thanks for the guide. Got my first treasure hunter and am getting some more for sure now!
Ive just been taking a treasure hunter trait every week, till i get enough treasure hunters with all the other traits i want . Like scavenger and epic mount .Im easily making 1k-3k a days with 5 toons worth of just garrison quests(no treasure quests yet) to do.But ive been loading up on treasure hunters. I figure its more lucrative than scavenger. Because you dont have to turn in resources, then sell those matts to make a profit. You can always buy matts to trade in for resources if need be, but resources never seems to be a problem once your an established garrison.
it probably wont be nerfed. You have to trade in some stuff to complete the quest.
