Lovely!
a shame that such an interesting story is only used for hearthstone. The worgen starting zone is still my favorite of all the races, I would love to see this played out more in the warcraft game itself :)
While I don't play actively Hearthstone, I absolutely love the Gilneas theme for The Witchwood. I hope the story is expanded upon in the future of Warcraft, as there certainly is the audience for it.Cool article, I would contribute more if I could!
Cool. even goodfrey is legendary. :)
Makes me wonder if this Hearthstone expansion is just to help clarify and expand the Gilnean Lore a bit because Blizzard has plans for Gilneas in Battle For Azeroth, such as if King Greymane and the Gilnean Humans/Worgens reclaim it after the Undercity falls, and to serve as a new home/capital for the Night Elf refugees, etc.I hope so. Would be nice if Gilneas became a player hub or new main city of sorts to replace Darnassus, especially since it's considered one of the best looking aesthetics/themes in all of Azeroth and usually always the top #1 spot in various top videos rating WoW Zones.
Very interesting thoughts in here! I think we all hope that Hearthstone becomes another story tool that will be able to entwine and introduce both old and new lore arcs!
