They really, REALLY added a lot of sprinkles to this story. Yes, losing a pet is painful. Yes, it's not easy to get over. Yes, I dearly miss my cat after having to put her down when she was suffering. There's nothing special about losing a pet; it's always equally tragic, no matter how many extra steps are involved. It wasn't fun shopping for a replacement pet for the guy either, because the speed at which we do the quests makes it feel like he gets over his dead companion was unrealistically fast. I dunno. The questline wasn't that good to me. I'm happy I have my own ottuks though. Love those noodles.
"Thanks for the Carry" achievement actually made sense after this questline, and it ripped my heart out.
I know a lot of people think questing is the worst activity in WOW, but I do feel like the quests in DF thus far have been really good. Several of them were very moving and touching. I don't remember feeling that way much (if at all) about quests in the past few expansions.
Tuskarr Graal worshipping Ottuk riding Paladins when
I believe you must complete this quest on a hunter to be able to tame ottuks on that character. It does not appear to be account wide.
This was good but the quest with the paintings was really moving for me.
Now all I need is them to be made playable so I can make my survival hunter ottuk tamer Tuskarr.
Nicely done. Beware when doing Furry Friends. Your cursor will show a knife when you target an Ottuk for a game of catch. If you fend off an attack from a bear, the Ottuk will join the fight (against you). Please add a paragraph added for hunters.
