I wonder if this means that the beta will soon be over. Or is that just wishful thinking on my part?
Are people forgetting that they had a free weekend in June? I mean it is a new trend with games. Having free weekends. They have done it with Overwatch since launch. So what's the big deal? Why does everything have to be doom and gloom as soon as something different happens?
Maybe they are trying to get inactive accounts playing again BECAUSE too many current players have become spoiled, jaded and bitter. Its an amazing game. Don't expect everything tailored perfectly to just you. Try having FUN and appreciating how much we get for so little, instead of crying. If you aren't happy with the game, DONT PLAY. There are plenty of new players ready to take your place and give positive reviews and comments. Wake up. Most of you who complain are already burned out and bored because you repeat the same content on multiple characters in a mad dash or just stick to one tiny part of the game.Let it go or move on.
I see the overwhelming negativity on Wowhead, MMO-Champion, YouTube, and on the WoW Forums and it makes me feel really proud of the WoW community. Everyone is coming together and sharing their voice. And why shouldn't they? We have each of us spent at the very least $75+ on a product that has fizzled out in record time. The game has never been in a better position to see real change than it is now. All of this horrendous feedback has to count for something. If people do not vocalize the sorry state of this game, then it will never be able to get better. There will always be plenty of people who will accept whatever they are given, and they will say thank you and ask for seconds. If people who were unhappy with a product simply quit and said nothing about it, how is that product ever supposed to be improved? Do you really think the product can ever be improved when all you are left with is people who will accept whatever they get, and never offer any kind of critical thinking or ideas on how to improve the game? I would encourage all of you to continue providing feedback, and venting your frustrations as loudly and for as long as you can. Many of the people who are providing all of this negative feedback are the people whom are the most passionate about the game. We love this game, and that is why we are so disappointed with Blizzard and their developers. I'll always love World of Warcraft for what is was, and what it could be, but not for what is has become. At least with WoD the excuse was a lack of content. BfA suffers from so much more than that. I've never seen such universal disdain in all of the 14 years I have been playing/following this game. It's so very telling of the product itself, not of the people who are playing it. People are not saying that WoW is dead or dying in the sense that it will soon be taken offline never to be seen again. They are saying that the gaming experience that made WoW such a special game is dying, and what is left is something that could never hope to live up to the special gaming experience that it was for so many of us. If you are someone who is thoroughly enjoying the game right now, I think that is great, and I don't think anyone is telling you that you shouldn't be. I'm sorry that some of you feel threatened or offended by it, but the fact that you must make broad generalizations about people in order to explain away the things you do not understand is telling of your own personal character, and not of theirs.
How about they actually fix the classes before moving this game from "open beta" that we pay for. Still no PTR changes to shadow priests that are one of the worst and most forgotten specs in bfa. Still none of the promised changes to prot warrior except some band aid 5% stamina buff hotfix. Still no fix for dks in pvp except slightly buffing death strike at the expense of losing one of the best pvp talents for unholy... Still no changes to brewmaster that is dominating the raid scene but every pro player says it's the most boring spec ever and desperately needs something that expresses your skill instead of being just a taunt-bot and healing dummy.
Oh. What’s next? A Pepsi promotion with game time on the side of the can, or a token inside of Frosted Flakes.....
Could it be that a certain company is losing subs and need to do something in order to appeal to the chairholders ... ?Nooooooo ..... I am sure all they want is to make the game enjoyable for every .... *muahaahahah*
REMOVED
BRO, JUST TURN OFF YOUR BRAIN, EVERYTHING IS FINE, KEEP SUBBING
As it was on the trial promotion page:"3. The trial ends after three hours of game play or after the quest "We Need Each Other" (for Horde) or "A Nation Divided" (for Alliance), whichever comes first."Looks like you can only play for three hours at each character then.
This is an extremely disgusting way to bring back people into the game. The current content is lame, and there isn't much going on right now. It's pathetic that Blizzard won't actually fix the issues going on right now. There are a few fixes that would actually make the game much more vibrant.
why do ppl think this is anything new?EVERY xpac they do this. They will send an email to inactive accts and say "have a few days to try the game free".its nothign knew.it has been that way for AT LEAST 3 xpacs so far (i have a secondary acct i used for RAF and get it every time in case anyone has doubts im making it up)
it's trap
