I liked the stairs because it was consistent. Trying to dodge stomp at an angle so a wave doesn't spawn on your face as a tank is actually pretty difficult. You can't pre position like melee or ranged. You must avoid moving early. If there was like 1/2 a second more time to dodge I feel like I wouldn't be cutting it so extremely close every time. Getting hit by either stomp or wave on top of the painful dot/absorb is pretty lethal. So it's just incredibly tense to have to deal with this combo every 15 seconds where you can't make any mistakes. Where stuff like lag or affixes like Storming/Volcanic are just plain in your way makes it really feel like this boss could just a tiny bit more leeway on the dodge mechanic.
simple fix would have to just delete this awful dungeon from m+ set, everything is bad in this dungeon, there is literally not a single good thing in it
Wait, are people really this dumb? The mechanic is based on boss facing. Just be a non-stupid tank and tank the boss facing cardinally. Then it's 100% predictable. YES the animation for the cardinal attack should happen sooner, but it's not remotely hard to "do right" if people get in a habit of being aware of boss facing.
good
I wish they would care to fix those waves so they dont do dmg when they dont hit anything ^^
wow ppl get creative about an encounter and come up with a good solution , blizzard burns it down to the ground
As a healer in a high key when i see my tank going from full hp to less 25% and having like 300k healing absord (due to the jade serpent kick)Having to doge stuff or take in account other people that havent doge set stuff.Yes i much reather do the "exploit" since it makes me life easier.Saying stuff like just doge or that this dung is free loot cityI bet most of them havent done it on a high difficulty.
I would love to see anyone in this comments who tanked or healed tyranicall jade on this boss on 20+, obv everyone here is clueless, why people went on stairs, its so healer can spam heal the tank so he can survive the damn billion absorb thats impossible to heal when u have to dodge waves on top of that
Ah yes, fixing z-axis on a single boss in m+. Can we maybe fix the z-axis of Final Stand's divine shield taunt on prot paladin please? It's only been 5 years I know, but I think that's not too much to ask on an entire spec? Or maybe the 100ms delay on the ability that potentially kills a melee whenever I use it?
