why was this posted 3+ times in discord lol same post
You need to have level 3 menagerie in order to actually see Squirt?
its all good haha was just curious
I don't see Squirt in my Garrison (EU - Argent Dawn Horde).Any ideas why? I just see Kura Thunderhoof.
Great news! It looks like the "Sign of the ..." events from the past weeks didn't interfere with the already planned events. That means the algorithm for calculating next Super Squirt days is still valid! Check out my comment on Squirt's page. I always update it.
We received it 5 times haha, sounds to be more important than prepatch release date
Very nice, I was thinking recently that with all the achievements added and pet dungeons, there are so many pets required at level 25 and there's no catch-up system for new / casual players.I have leveled the pets required for celestial tournament to level 25 in the past, but didn't do any since Legion.Time to play some pokemon.
EDIT: post edited to tone down the voiced opinion; it is theoretically the fastest way and if you have a whole line of pets ready to level up, definitely abuse it. However I will stick to my point that it is a repetitive strategy, there are ways to use the pet weekly otherwise and anyone immersing enough into pet battling to begin with will most likely not have big issues getting levels going. That said, after trying it out a few more times I noticed it works fast; but now the day's almost over. Original post spoilered.I find this so claimed "best day to level battle pets" a bit moot. I mean, don't get me wrong, theoretically it definitely is. However, you'll be running Squirt over and over again to get them up and I have to be frank, I was done with it four or five pets in as a non-regular pet battler. As added annoyance, most setups are not 100% reliable due to Darkness, as well as the carry pet dying to Omnislash if you're unlucky to get it to cast multiple times and/or the carry pet is a dragon. The fact that it's limited to only one day for a good time period does not add to these already questionable qualities.Personally, if you're into battle pets and spend a good portion of your playtime to it as is (doing all pet content like dailies and wqs), you'll be getting leveling stones and experience as you fight (low level) trainers. This is practically a lot more immersive. Dedicating more time to pets during the pet week (which is an off-week for most non-pet players) will increase this threefold: no need for Squirt per se to make this more practical.Tl;dr: info is theoretically correct, but imo pet battlers don't need this, non-pet battlers don't want this, goldmakers find this unreliable and volatile.
Well, I have a different opinion on this as Qoko above.I am a typical non-pet battler (only done a few dailies in this whole expansion, for a couple of achievements). As it is the end of the expansion, some of us are getting quite bored and spending time farming achievement points.Using a combo of pet found on the comment section of Squirt (Enchanted broom, Boneshard and leveling pet), I did that for >hour now (and I am still on it) and the fact that you get a pet to max level in 2 battles, with a pet-healer just next to you...this is golden. I am currently leveling all relevant pets that could help me do the Battle achievements and I don't think there is any faster way I have ever seen. Back in MoP, I did some pet battles and the only thing close to that was challenging tamers, and still, with travel time, healing pets, etc...nothing ever came close to that right here. You just need a good youtube channel on second screen/background :)Anyway, big thanks for that reminder Buuloki!
I'm in the top 200 for pets collected and I find this handy information. I always used to note when Squirts would be up in my calendar and spend at least 2 hours there. All my pets are 25 now, but without wowhead I'd never have found out about this in the first place.
I like to know when Squirt is up. I sell pets and that way I can bulk level what I have on my guild bank and then I can chill until the next event.
"Battle Pet Binds" isn't turning up. Is there an addon out there that can allow pet swap keybinds that people would recommend?
Nice that folks on the other side of the world get their Squirt uninterrupted. Hopefully, next US Squirt is after Shadowlands drops, because I've got no pets to level until then.
Let me restate, I've never said the information is incorrect, voicing an opinion. You don't have to agree with me, as said, I don't often pet battle and I do find this strategy to be repetitive. If you already put a lot of time in pets to begin with, I find it unlikely leveling in itself is really a major problem. I've edited the original post to tone down my opinion and added that non-RNG reliability is key.
