Farewell Sir Splooshington
Farewell Observussy
Blizzard should just add a Mage familiar that they can customize. Non-combat, cannot be used in instanced rated content like rated bgs or arena.
Worst decision in a long time, customization wise. When players are begging for more customizations, more races, more looks, classes for all, more pet families... they end up removing important customization used by roleplayers for reasons that make no sense. After 10 years of the Observer, people know that it's a Felhunter. And just because the Water Elemental is never taken in endgame, doesn't mean it isn't loved, unlike the hated Rune of Power talent that is also being removed. But as usual, roleplayers do not exist in the eyes of Blizzard. I hope someday they get the love they deserve & their beloved pets back.
Look at those dramaqueens lmao
Farewell Bubbles
Good riddance.
the warlock change makes no sense to me. The way blizz phrased it sounded like they are removing it because PVP players are too stupid to know something that doesnt move and does damage to an area below it and something that can move and interrupts, also they somehow implied the warlock themselves doesnt know they glyphed their own felhunter pet.If the problem is the PVP talent, just remove or change the PVP talent that got added this expansion, not the glyph that existed for almost a decade (2016)But yup, I took some screenshots of my observer, gonna miss his derpy face.
Changes like this always make me question if the devs actually care or not. They claim to want more customization but only on the select screen apparently.
I didn't read all the itty bitty bits of the patch notes and I see this?I'm sobbing. I've played my frost mage since Wrath, leveled her with my son's warrior in a refer a friend set up, that water elemental as a constant companion. But now? My son left the game (his then 6 month old daughter almost wiped the raid by hitting the keyboard while sitting in his lap) citing family, and I understand completely...but I'm still there because I've no reason to leave. And when I get in game...Karenya is going to be so lost.
Warlock complaints are justified; removing the observer because one person on the entire planet got angry that they couldn't figure out after a single battle that it's a vanity appearance for the felhunter is just stupid. They better not forget to bring it back. I don't care if it's not a vanity skin; I just want my orb with tentacles and a tongue back. Mage complaints are silly. You at least get to keep the visual, and you lose the awful micromanagement aspect of a pet class. That's a win. Sucks that you can't have it out at all times, but at least you get to have it at all for now.JUSTICE FOR OBSERVERS!
This seems so unnecessary.
:(
I thought Ion said no one picked water elemental therefore because no one liked it and not because it's bug and not efficient enoughso why people say bye to an unliked feature of their class ?Game director of the year, right here, no wonder the game is such a mess.
Farewell, Triton. Though I didn't play with you too much, I will never forget how you saved my life when I accidently pulled a whole orc village during wod leveling. That Freeze was a true life-saver! Thank you!
and finally other classes understand the pain that a lot of BM hunters felt at the end of Legion when we thought we were losing Hati forever. However, we got him back because we were so damn persistent. So there's hope for you guys too.
What? Water Elemental too? Man this is sad :(
I never really liked the Water Elemental, but seeing it go from being there all the time to just during IV is a little sad. Oh well! Least the DPS they add during it will be cool
