I jumped straight aboard the "no 8.3"-train. Not because I necessarily believed it wouldn't come, but because I think using the classic hype and Blizzcon to sell a new expansion made a lot of sense. BfA has gotten a bad rep with a lot of people, an I don't think a patch is gonna be big enough to convince people. I'm hyped though!
Patchgasm , oh boy
BFA offers very little allied race options for the alliance. Lorewise, most of the speculated and legitimate "could be" allied races are for the horde.Vulpera: There's no damn way they'll join the alliance. No explanation neededSethrak: Although alliance got few quests (five) with Vorrik but i doubt those are canon at all. Because those quests lead them toward the ToS dungeon and horde have far more detailed storyline out there which concludes Volduun's storyline. So lorewise there's no chance they are going to be allied with the alliance.Tortolan: Although they are "neutral" quest giver currently giving wq in Nazjatar also, they too have little to no relation with the alliances. Talanji's new Zanchili council recruited Lashk, an elderly Tortolian. Not to mention the story with their loa Torga and how the horde helped them avenge him which eventually led toward Torga's Resurrection. So i dont think so these are going to be allied race at all. Because who'll become their alliance counterpart? Hexed beasts from drustvar? Well the alliance already got them: Kul Tiran Druids. Faceless ones from stormsong valley? Dont think so. Now if blizzard decided to give the alliance chubby/short human like Harlan Sweete as an allied race, then I cant say anything. But other than that, the allies have no allied race options left from BFA storyline.
Yes, please!
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that Warcraft 4 might get announced at Blizzcon. It would shock and thrill the customer base. Their looking backward (not a bad thing) with Classic has surely spawned conversations about reviving the RTS saga. This would also create new and interesting storylines for WoW, which when based on the RTS was the most compelling. If they're not considering this, then they need better people in leadership because it's an opportune moment and would sell enormously.
Are y'all getting mad over at Wowhead that the datamining is being blocked? Must cramp your style.
