"Hooray Retribution Aura" Said no Paladin EVER!
As a MS Blood DK / OS Frost DK, I'm looking forward to these changes / additions.Making daddy very happy ^^
As a Shaman I am just looking at my keybinds and wondering how the hell I can fit in more abilities if they leave things as they are... Im all for some changes to shaman, enhancement in particular but I was hoping for just one more totem and some more defensive capability?
Why make holy power come back for all paladin specs? Holy and Prot felt BETTER without it! WHY? >:|
For Survival to just receive Arcane Shot, Kill Shot, and some damage buffs on talents that most people won't really use in most situations is a little underwhelming. Although, I'm glad it's staying as a melee-ranged hybrid as being able to fight in melee, but still be able to disengage and deal significant damage from range in cases such as PvP is incredibly satisfying. I would love to see Waylay (Maybe as a PvP talent) return as it rewarded planning ahead and skillful placement. It was fun to Hi-Explosive Trap someone into a Waylay-ed Freezing Trap in Legion for a stun. I would also love to see a rendition of Latent Poison make it into Shadowlands by added into Hydra's Bite or something like that. I feel that it rewarded players that managed their Serpent Stings and it helped with the class' very lackluster cleave. Honestly, I've never hit Carve and it's probably better off being replaced with something useful. I think I use Fireworks more than I use that ability. Perhaps something like the Artifact Ability: Fury of the Eagle. With the loss of Essences I think the spec's AoE potential falls dramatically. I felt that the only way I could compete with some other specs in dungeons with large pulls like Unholy was with the Focusing Iris. I would love to see Butchery (Maybe a weaker version) be added in baseline, which would also help out its cleave potential. This is just an early preview so I'm sure there is plenty of time for change. I would love to see a few things added to help fill in some spots the spec struggles with and I hope to still have plenty of fun playing the spec in Shadowlands. These are my tidbits to add, thank you for reading, and have a wonderful day.
I've been saying that hunters shouldn't have a melee spec since they first announced it, but I'm not going get into that minefield now. My major complaint right now is that they're keeping with barbed shot. Why? No one likes barbed shot. It's SUPER boring. You know what was fun? Dire Beast. The most quintessential Beast Mastery moment is when you had a pet, Hati, and procced, like, 3 dire beasts (glyphed to be your own pets) and kill your target and an entire basketball team's worth of your pets turn and start running back to you. THAT was beast mastery. Barbed Shot is... *yawn* Sorry what was I talking about?
I want to thanks so much to the devs for the changes on warriors in special on arms those was missing alot - great job! they really look very good!
It's kinda weird how Brewmaster, WW and Frost DK can all dual wield or 2-hand, but Guardian Druids who actually had a Dual Wielding Artifact weapon can't actually Dual Wield. Just feels weird.
I like what I see here, but I will get down and pray at the shrine of Ion if I can finally have a SnB DPS spec for my warrior. Definitely a step in the right direction in some places, not sure how I feel about playing Russian Roulette with S. Priests. Since they finally gave Hunter melee back in Legion w/ SV, I've found it great fun, but it could definitely use some work, so I hope they have more in store where that is concerned. I understand the cynicism I'm seeing here in the comments, but sometimes there just is no pleasing some people. Reward good progress, save the castigation for when they inevitably screw something up again, guys.
I dunno, i see lots of people upset about shadow priest changes, even though most of them are subject to change.Still, i do like the Surrender to Madness changes (kill or be killed)! Seems like a pretty cool execute window for Shadow Priests! Hopefully it sees some play into raiding content, not like BfA were Legacy of the Void is baseline!
Some changes are welcome. Some, not so much.I couldn't agree more with the people still pissy about void form for shadow priests. This void form crap has turned me off completely from my Priest and I won't be playing a priest until it's gone. I seriously can't get my Goblin heritage armor with a fully geared priest in void form. Priests use mana. Sentence over. Shadow priests need a huge return back to what they once were.Until hunters get a proper cheetah buff back I won't be returning to this class either. Even the cooldown on what is the current cheetah ability is painfully long. Walking back to the entrance of an instance to turn in quests is painful as I watch druids and shaman and other classes move at significantly faster paces. If you want to play this game in slow motion, roll a hunter. My warlock has always been my main and I still miss the days of collecting shards into bags with a plethora of spells that made the class difficult to learn and even more difficult to master (shard management was part of what made you good), but once you were a good Warlock, you were unstoppable in the game. Adding curses isn't going to be enough for me, but I also I understand there might not be anything Blizz can do on this end to make me happy, so I'll play my lock anyway and go about my merry business.I love monks and demon hunters as they currently are, so I'm hesitant, but open-minded to any "improvements".
By the Light, as an Enhancement Shaman...I'm thoroughly impressed, I thought we were gonna get boned in SL.
Very excited about the changes, espeically for DK and monk which I think they really hit the nail on the head with. Also making me interested in trying priest or shaman out again. Letting DK and monk use 2handed weapons for all their dps and tank specs is such a great change, really appreciate that. Also, fel devestation for DH is awesome
Bah, really missed my Deep Freeze. Was such a 'cool' spell to use and it was awesome to turn enemies into a block of ice for a wee bit. Ah, well. And now for my continuing mental decline, trying to decide between Warlock, Mage, or Death Knight. I just can't pick one to main anymore. Maybe this will help.
Absolutely NOT ok with Balance returning to eclipse system at all. Please leave that alone, old eclipse system was bad, drove many players away, new system has many players playing it.
These comment sections basically are a contest about, who can doom and gloom the most. Holy !@#$ing %^&*.
I don't want Gargoyle back if it still has that RP scaling #$%^.
