Would like to know about the new customization options for the races
lets hope that lvl works. Cause would suck picking Cata zones to lvl in and getting to Deepholm before lvl 25, that zone can not be done without flight
Hows pathfinding working?
That is kind of lame considering that we had to grind the crap out of the pathfinders to gain flying in certain zones only to be locked behind a level gate. In other words if I level in Legion I can't fly until level 25 when I've unlocked pathfinder and can fly right away at the current moment. That kind of ruins it for me.
No, why would it be?
I'm holding my breath for Pathfinder info. Like it really doesn't change anything, the new leveling system. If you choose to level in an expansion that has pathfinding required, it should still be required. But at the same time, perhaps they should ADD pathfinding to vanilla/BC/Wrath/Cata/Pandaria. Just take it down a notch all around. If the goal is to 'experience the world' and level seamlessly through one expansion, one would expect Blizzard to encourage immersion in that particular expansion. Flying from gold dot to gold dot makes no sense in the new system for new players. It makes no sense to have 'easymode expansions' and 'hardmode expansions'. The only difference in them should be the story and scenery. So either everyone gets flying all the time totally unrelated to which expansion you're in or everyone should have a separate unlock per expansion per account. But I need to know nnnooowwww before I waste 40+ hours getting the pathfinding I need.
Flying should be at 10. Right now you can fly by the beginning of ANY expansion content, having to reach level 25 starting one of the expansions at level 10 means a full 15 levels of no flying, which is gonna feel very weird.BTW, you are REQUIRED to have flying to even start MoP, how's that gonna work?
only thing id imagine happening for pathfinder is rep requirements reduced, still required to do it.Like usually 100% a zones quests would get you to honored, so just bump it to honored
Do we really need mount tiers anymore? A level squish along with choosing an expansion to level in is perfect to streamline a lot of non-endgame stuff. Being able to use mounts from level 1 is awesome, although I think it just just be Journeyman (100%) from level 1, and Expert (Flying 150%) and Master (Flying 310% if you can afford it) at level 10. Get rid of all Pathfinder achievements except for the current expansion.
That's all good and great, but more importantly - when can we fly in Shadowlands?
They should just remove the 150% speed, change the 280% speed to 250% and move it down to level 25.
