Is that true that might caravan brutosaur will have base cost of 5kk gold?
All of these items are already on the bmah save the brutosaur and the fathom dweller....
Also want to know if this means on launch day of SL, no one can access it til they level to 60..I got my Nalak mount the second day bfa opened..I would be rather peeved if an item I wanted to bid on showed up and closed before I could get to 60 (due to server outages etc, I know I can level fast enough IF it is smooth)
It might be a super stupid question, but can someone enlighten me on this one? How can one use the BMAH for such things? Isn't it internally controlled, and the only thing players can do with it is place bids?
I don't see why this was changed, considering most people won't be having non-max alts carrying round that amount of cash. Probably trying to restrict bank alts or AH goblins IDK.In short: huh, neat.
Really going to make it more of a race to hit max level in Shadowlands ASAP since the faster you get there the less competition there is going to be on bidding. This will be a good advantage for a week or two while everyone is leveling up.
They are using In game communities to transfer the gold. Most commonly done by posting a specific Item usually a pet on the auction house. So lets say I am on Illidan and I want gold on Dalaran because there is something on the BMAH that I want.I can post a specific pet on the AH on Dalaran and have someone purchase it, then they do the same on Illidan and I purchase it.With the correct calculations should return the same gold on each server.I then can take that level 1 character I just sold the pet on to the BMAH and buy what I was wanting.Capping the use of the BMAH stops this from happening and keeps the BMAH to the specific server/battlegroup.Again, this won't stop people from leveling to 60 and continuing to do it. They would just have to have a level 60 on the server they are planning to buy something from the BMAH, it deters people since it does require the lvl 60.
I'm glad for these changes, finally i will be able to spend +150m saved up from bfa.
Its against Boosting Communitys. They give you gold on trial chars and you pay them. Now you cant just create a trial character and let them give you the gold on the low pop realm
I just feel bad for all the ppl that didn't have the chance to use this. Now getting Swift Zulian/ Plagued Proto in high+ pops will be even harder, since you can't make use of BMAH from low pop realms, where they will go even for a few mil :(
bad idea, i mean why limit it, can't see a real benefit from this.
Just to be clear, I’m assuming that “max-level” in the pre-patch will be 50 (our current 120s), and when the expansion goes live it will become the new max of 60?
Seems like a smart idea to keep the BMAH more in line with the intention (realm-based) and off-realm snipers can't just swoop in ... unless they also pay for a boost, which is also good for the economy.
The people that use the BMAH already have enough gold to buy tokens and server transfer for things like this. I guess it just slightly inconveniences them a little more though?
