Of course they should ease it up now, the complaint is anima should not have been so hard to get at launch. Back then killing a rare might give like 15 anima, meanwhile the covenants sell individual transmog pieces for 3000. And some people grinded for them.I didn't, I didn't even get my covenant past tier 1 in patch 9.0, because I assumed they would nerf it later on and sure enough, here we are. And that's great. But it should have been less onerous to start out. It was always clear that it took way too much time to get, and it was crystal clear to anyone who played WoW for years that it would be nerfed later on, so why entice some players to grind it? It almost feels malicious. Those players were treated poorly.
Why they keep nerfing everything so radically? This is not good for long term persprective.
Renown 40 and transfering Anima 1:1 for alts. Can't say I'm not liking it.
I doubt it works for the weekly. I have received anima token via mail because bags were full and they didn't count towards the 1k. So not sure how sending it to an alt through the mail will help complete the quest.
Cool, hope it stays 1:1 ratio for buy/redeem!Having it complete the weekly is a bit daft though, but it's not like it's a hard quest anyway... just doing the 2 world bosses (1 in the maw, 1 in one of the other 4 zones) completes it too...Also nice to see individual gear item tokens purchasable in those screenshots too!Now if only they made the prices cheaper, and/or stygia significantly easier to obtain (so you could get a base set of gear for alts nice and easy... like how benthic gear was! only 5 pearls each per base item!)
Oh, ffs, just make currencies account-wide. They keep adding vendors and gimmicky ways to do things.
This is close to the right idea. The right idea would be to make all currency account-wide. If something is deemed too important for character progression make it soulbound. This change, however, does nothing to effectively solve the problem. You still want to do Khortia on your alts for the Archived Research, meaning that you get the Anima regardless of you sending it to your alt. This is a pointless change that only looks good instead of actually being good. This shows that Ion is either massively incompetent at designing WoW or in complete spite-mode over having lost Brack to defend him and now has Ibarra who would never defend him privately unless he's worth defending and has gone into total malicious compliance either. Either way, he should be fired from his job.
like they always do. i will no longer grind something, just wait next patch to get it for free. like happened to island expeditions and more.
Good change. Should have been there from the start tho...
Yay!
You can also transfer covenant to covenant to by the looks of this item as well. Just costs clicking multiple times.
It is utterly ridiculous to me that people are complaining about this.I've been playing this expansion since launch and I don't feel "punished" or cheated by this at all.People really will just complain for the sake of complaining these days.
