I don't think that mythic raiders are getting all the awesome sets. Almost everything after Cata-Firelands looked the same (some exceptions, druid ToT stuff was nice, warlock sets tend to look nice). It's all muddish-greyish-greenish undistinguishable stuff in my eyes. Hardly anyone from my guild uses their actual raid sets (and we are doing mythics). People keep transmogging T2, T3, T5/T6, T7 even. Some Firelands stuff also. But after that...To me, it's perfectly clear why this is so. What I don't get is, why does Blizzard not see this? I hoped they would see when they said "back to the roots" and talked about clear styles and clear colors the classic sets had. That's exactly what players want. I do prefer my rogue T2 set even if it has only half the polygons newer sets have. It has a distinctive style, and clear colors (red and black instead of 50 shades of brown). Same thing goes for paladins you see proudly parading about in their golden T2 or T6 sets. Mages in T3, which really looks mage-y to me. Why do they not dare to use clear and beautiful colors anymore? Where's the violet of Ulduar-25 or Firelands-Heroics? What about red (real red, not brownish) and gold and deep blue? What about turquoise or shining white priest garb? All those polygons and details and lines of newer sets are worth nothing if you can't even see those details because it's all a brownish wishy-wash. So sad.Even in MoP they failed to use the wide range of asian-style fashion which opened up to them. Some chinese details where there, but again, too brownish most of it. Chinese and japanese styles could've been much more present and colorful, as their historical archetypes.WoD didn't offer much, all orcish-ugly-brownish stuff, but I guess it couldn't be helped fighting the Iron Horde. I wouldn't have minded some nice draenei styles though. Pity they ignored draenei culture quite completely except for those nice villages in shadowmoon valley. For Legion, one would imagine a mix of demonic/exotic stuff, just like in Burning Crusade, plus ancient elven influences. Is the first raid not Suramar? Then, why do I not see anything elven about those sets?Another point: I do believe most pvpers are getting really sick about having to wear always the same reddish (horde) or blueish (alliance) sets. I might do pvp with my alliance toons but I would really like my sets to have other colors for a change, thank you.TL;DR: Transmogging it is, then.
Warlock gear look's like !@#$. No affence to warlock's i sympathize with you're complete atrociety of a set seriously no warlock love #WarriorForLife!
