Anyone running a group for horde? I would love to join..can't get anyone to run it with meEDIT:Nevermind one of my friends logged on and we ran in there on normal, killed adds, got quest and killed cooks and got the angry chicken :D
Its up in the NA as well
Can do it on normal, its up as of 13 Dec 2018, 10:48 Alaskan Standard Time - Get to the WQ mobs stack em up, don't kill em and wait, the roasted chicken will eventually appear, dont worry about an order, just run in and stack em up, grab the quest when it pops, then leave the dungeon, boom you're done.
Followed the comment on the quest's page and most of my normal run group got it no problem. One member couldn't see the ! above the chicken so we did a reset but he still couldn't get it. Hopefully he gets it before the quest expires.
1 can ONLY be done in NORMAL2 do NOT NUKE the chefs down!you have to let them al cast their specials, once the have done so the quest will be right there and everyone can get it no need to share.
I just did this on normal and our sticking point was not stacking. It seems that the roast and the gravy abilities are cones that target players so you have to all be stacked on the chicken.
Just completed this with a random group on Normal. I haven't run this dungeon much, so I'm very unfamiliar with the layout. We got to the Chefs and I managed to die during the fight. When I tried to find my way back to the kitchen, I got lost. By the time I was able to get there, everyone else had gotten the quest, but the chicken had despawned so I could not pick up the quest. And everyone in the party tried, but could not share it.So what did this random group of gamers do? They decided to walk back out, reset the dungeon and go back in to kill the Chefs again, just so I could get the quest!I now have my very own Vengeful Chicken, thanks to Furystorm-Ragnaros, Valadhiel-Undermine, Brootus-Azralon, and Felwaker-Area52.We all know that LFG can be painful at times, but this time, I found 4 gamers who showed some true team spirit! Thanks guys/gals!
Guild run, ten minutes, easy-peasy, VENGEFUL CHIMKEN Thanks Wowhead!
Just solo'd this on a 346 guardian druid on normal difficulty. Stealthed to the kitchen, tho i did have to fight one pack right infront of the boss room but thats not much trouble, then stealth again and run through the boss room to the kitchen, the three cooks will be there and a witch will spawn, i didn't actually attack anything in the kitchen...only reason i ended up in combat was the witch spawning in where i was standing, anyway, just survive until the chicken is thrown on the ground and wait for the quest to pop. You don't actually have to kill anything in the kitchen, or at least that's how it worked out for me...whole process took about 10-15 min. Also, the chicken can be caged, so if you have alts that can do this, or have some friends this chicken could be made a little less rare...but considering how crispy he ended up on that kitchen floor...maybe not so rare after all? ^_^
Went and re-solo'd this on another toon, had more trouble with that one. If you die while the chicken is on the ground and has the quest popped, but haven't killed any of the chefs, you can go back to the kitchen, (don't have to reset the instance or anything) and the chicken can drop again and give the quest. Also Azeroth Autopilot set to auto-accept quest helps alot, I had died trying to click on the chicken but had the three chefs and the witch standing on it...
Just remember, you have to be neutral or more with Booty Bay to be able to hand in the quest.
Does anyone know if you can receive multiple pets with the same character as long as the WQ is still there?
No chickens thrown. No quest appeared. We killed the chefs too quickly it seems.
The kitchen staff have to cast their abilities on the raw chicken that lands on the floor. The abilities are fairly thin cones, and are cast at players. When they have done so, you can accept the quest. Do not kill the kitchen staff until everybody has the quest.
On my attempt 2 people didn't listen and killed the sauciere. So went to normal. It looks like you need all 3 up as others mentioned, one to toss it another to cook and 3rd add gravy. You actually have to click on the chicken when it is cooked you'll see the !. Can't share it.
The chefs spawn several chickens on the ground before the quest-giver. Don't dps them at all until the quest chicken spawns and everyone has accepted the quest. The quest is NOT shareable, but everyone in the party was able to pick it up and we all got our pet.
