I think this isn't just a method by which to encourage having those classes which can use Heroism, but to also make it to where farming the materials necessary to make old profession crafts like this is no longer necessary or desirable. Plus, we don't know how this number is even going to feel in a post level-squish world, AND it's still subject to change. We're very early on in Alpha yet, so they might just be playing with things or tweaking them to see what works. Don't get your undies in a knot just yet.
Looks like blizzard is just changing it on the lowest profession drums, not Legion/BfA drums. Probably because the new drums lose in selling on the AH since they are worth more. So not too bad of a change unless they lower the haste % to all drums too.
Me crafting about 4k Drums the last weeks :(But I like the aspect that they focus on the class abilities importance. It is ok when a shaman can give a more powerful bl than a dk for example. It's just the nature of classes and I like that! :)
"We don't want you to feel like anyone is required for X content"also "^&*! yourself, bring a lust class or fail"
Great, now I will be stuck with Core Hounds forever /puke
Now popping drums will be a pretty effective way to grief a raid or epic bg
This is a bad change in line with the return of class buffs but only for 3 classes. What do other classes bring? Now it seems mage brings lust and int buff. Amazing change, I'm looking forward to dh, rogue and mage dominating m+ again.
going to 50% effectiveness... okay, so scrolls go down to 5% then i guess? just why... bring them in line with the classbuffs already, i mean really. we are also missing the monk/dh-debuff as scrolls, or on more classes. what became of 'bring the player not the class'? saying this as a warrior-main and longtime shaman player btw
fun police at it again
Who decides what class gets a Bloodlust ability and why? Why do Mages and Hunters have it? Why can't certain other DPS specs have it? Do they really expect these classes to not be favored above all others when it comes to M+ and Torghast now that the gap between Bloodlust and drums will be so wide?
So I've been excited so far about most of the updates for SL. I try not to be a negative nelly but I've been pushing for professions to finally mean something again and this does not inspire me with hope. We should be able to use professions as a way to make Gold rather than what has become the usual gold making abilities such as boosting. We should be able to use things in the game in order to secure us gold. I guess that will never come back now that they have the WoW token.
Another bad move by Blizzard forcing a you to bring a specific class...
