Why is Blizzard recycling so much of the content from Siege of Orgrimmar?First they reused the Underhold as the basis for Baine's jailbreak; now they're recycling Durotar as a 'skeleton' of a warfront.I swear, they had better subvert my expectations or this will have a very bad look.
Ohh so a much more boring Siege of Orgrimmar...That's what everyone wanted right?
So I heard somewhere that as of 8.2 datamining is apparently made a lot harder because of various ways data is stored. I don't know if we count that as "harder for WoWhead," but what if there was a "bait layer" that's easy to get at (SoO map) and the real meat is suuuuper buried under this new tech?Is that even possible, I wonder?
Picture this: The alliance and horde take turns assaulting an Orgrimmar occupied by Sylvanas, the bosses each rotation are unknown due to deep encoding, and on the week the horde gets to assault, a talking head appears to taunt them on: An undead Tauren, its muzzle scarred and decrepit, croaks out his battlecry to bolster the other animated soldiers under his command:"I.... G...aaaa....mon... will s...saaave...ussss"
Last raid is SoO 2?
Oh look SoO 2.0, Undead eletric bangalo with beebs.
I'm not sure I can believe a Durotar Warfront being a thing, considering it's a starting zone with the primary Horde capital right there. So on occasion the Alliance will just chill right outside? Seems a bit odd...But can't judge with so little information, so we'll see.
We said we don't want Garrosh 2.0 from start. Dont do same things to sylvannas it is cheap storytelling..
I'm hoping that, at the least, this is a catty troll by Blizzard. If that's their serious idea for a pvp Warfront, I can only think of two ways this would work. Neither of them are great.
It's obviously just a placeholder map, guys. They just grabbed a Durotar map and put it in. I'm assuming they're choosing the final BFA Warfront as the means to end the BFA Sylvanas storyline, since BFA's storyline is ending with N'zoth and Azshara. It's pretty smart to be honest. Gives closure to the Sylvanas storyline without ending it with a quick questline, it gives an epic battle to end it, and gives them a chance to add a cutscene at the end of the warfront.
It's just a placeholder. C'mon! People are so impatient.
Orgrimmar again?Where's that Silvermoon Warfront we were promised?
