Giantstalker 's bracers, way back in about March 2005... at the time, my guild was one of the few major raiding guilds on Stormrage, and not everybody was in epics. That was my first epic on my first level 60.
The Most epic Loot that I have received in the game was Epic for two reasons. First and Foremost it was due to the fact that the loot was Epic in Quality; second it was my first day as a level 80 and I just happened to get asked to fill in for a raid member for a friend of mines guild. I was the only shaman in the group and my tier 7 token dropped Gloves of the Lost Protector There were no Warriors or Hunters in my group so I got the drop by default. I was ecstatic, day 1 tier 7. In addition to this we decided to run Vault of Archavon since we were in control of Wintergrasp. The boss dropped Heroes' Earthshatter Chestguard! The exact piece for my spec. Definitly the most epic loot I have gotten thus far.
That one time that I posted on WoWHead and got a Big Battle Bear. That was awesome. *wink*
My most epic loot drop was probably when i got my giant sewer rat. I was completely prepared to fish for hours to get it and on first cast there it was 8). again because my memory only works so far XD
After only a month or so on my old Arena team of "Murmur's Naughty Touch", my Warrior friend and I (a Holy Paladin at the time) found ourselves against two Shaman in the Ruins of Lordaeron arena. Now, at the time we still cringed anytime we came up against two classes with the potential to heal, as they tended to outlast us even though we both were wearing plate - but as usual, we decided to give it the old college try.Things went poorly from the first; I was Earth Shocked into oblivion everytime I tried to drop a heal on the Warrior, but even so he was able to whittle one of the two opponents down to the "danger zone" (Hammer of Wrath and Execute FTW!) - but just before finishing moves dropped the Shaman in his mail-footed tracks, the other got a lucky proc and blasted the Warrior into the afterlife. Now, I'm thinking that I'm pretty much doomed at this point - but, going with sheer gall rather than intelligence, I decided to pop wings, pop my healing trinkets for extra damage, and Hammer the other Shaman before he gets healed up - and what do you know, I nail him straight into the afterlife. So now it's just me against the other - and by this point in the battle both of us are running low on mana.To make a long story short, after about another 5 minutes of cat and mouse I was at 15% health and the Shaman still rested comfortably around 30%. It was about then that my Warrior friend asked over Vent, "Wait, I haven't seen you bubble yet have I?"And glory be, I hadn't! I smacked my bubble button, and (resisting the urge to hearth - darn Paladin instincts!) called upon the Gift of the Naaru and a bandage. The resulting life gave me enough vinegar to finish off the Shaman, much to his (I'm certain) chagrin. That's perhaps the most epic arena match I've been in - the day that a Holy Paladin nigh-on single-handedly took down two Shaman in battle.Of course, we 4 of our remaining 10 matches that day, but let's ignore that fact... ;)
