I love you.
It actually is called Lord of the RingS, fony. You see, when Sauron crafted the One Ring it gave him dominion over all the lesser rings of power and those that wore them (ie. - the three elven rings, the seven dwarven rings, and the nine human rings). This is how the Ringwraiths came about. Sauron was able to control those men that wore the nine human rings of power. The dwarves were largely immune to Sauron trying to "mind-control" them, however he was able to make them do largely as he wished because he would manipulate their feelings of greed and such when they wore the rings. He was unable to control the elves because they sensed him as soon as he put on the One Ring, and so they removed their rings.Soooo, to make a long story short, the word "ring" in the title should be plural.;)
He's probably using the DX9 mid-range settings. LOTRO has a bigger client download as well - extra 3GB or so - that's got DX10 setting, higher-res textures, etc.Professions are done in threes - there's about 10 all up, but you pick a Vocation - say "Explorer" and that gives you access to woodworking, leatherworking and mining. The Cash shop isn't set up the best, I totally agree - DDO is much better-designed that way.Animations are screwed up because their servers are getting hammered - their animation system is a little different to WoW's, so when the servers are lagging (thanks to the hundreds of people trying to game as it's just gone F2P) animations look a little screwy. The game's been doing fine since it released in 2007, Turbine have just decided they get more money this way.If you're looking to try this, here's things you should know:-Levelling is fine till 20, after that you'll want to buy quest packs (packs are either a zone of quests, or everything from 20-30, i forget)-Levelling is the main part of the game - this isn't WoW, with most of the content at the cap - there's plenty to do, sure, but a whole lot of it is doable while levelling as well.-Deeds are grindy as !@#$. you don't NEED to do them - they're either minor stat boosts, titles, or fluff - but beware, trying to 'max out' your deed list for a zone will involve a LOT of grinding.edit: LOL @ the rickroll concert at the end. gotta love LoTRO's playermade music.
oh, ultimate rickroll... I get it now
I can't believe I got rick rolled >_<
Great concept, terrible game.Oh wait... OMG STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN ON FLUTE!Quitting my WoW subscription to WoW, Brb.
