Us: With shards of domination our BIS leggos get binnedBlizz: Well, if you craft a new version of the same binned leggo, we'll give you a gem socket on it. Mind you it's not a domination socket.Us: It will still get binned!Blizz: You're welcome! Now pay up sucka!.......Intelligent thing to do would be to make upgrades to rank 5 or 6 create a domination socket on the items that would be binned by domination gear.
Shadow Priest who ran SFP could already re-craft from Head -> Hands prior to 9.1 so they could vacate the head slot for a domination socket item. Those are the people who get burned form this. Calling people incompetent for re-crafting a leggo before the patch is actually hilarious. People want to play the game and prep for the next patch. In no normal world should anyone be telling me I was wrong for re-crafting from Head -> Hands. There were multiple posts on this website and others literally imploring people to recraft. This is likely a last minute change they decided on THIS WEEK, there is no other reason why this information would be coming out on a thursday before the patch otherwise. Stop being weird and out of touch. Yea, its cool in the long run, but after weeks of pushing information that people will need to re-craft, its hardly surprising something like this is happening.
Thank god I’m not affected by this since I have to reroll my legendary to a back piece! An extra gem slot would of been nice ngl.
Stop telling people to recraft legendaries.
Irrelevant. As long as I have to recraft my shoulders into a ring I'm not resubbing.
This doesn't fix the problem at all. Another monkey paw solution! We still have to recraft legendaries. We still wasted soul ash. We still wasted gold. Months of work flushed down the toilet. Gotta boost that time-played metric I guess!
LUL they see people complain about having to recraft their legendary so they double down.
Good job blizz. *Head pat*You still need to solve the recreating leggos problem cus of the new system.
I dont get it,I have a legendary in a neck slot, it doesn't have a socket, Does that mean i will have to re craft it in neck again to get it with a socket ?
It does not fix the problem; in fact, it adds one more: now classes whose inventory slot is any of these will have advantage over someone else's. Just as an example, either resto or balance druids need to replace their legendaries due to the new domination runes occupying head/shoulder/chest slots. This means resto's best in slot for the raid legendary is boots in 9.1 meanwhile balance's is legs in 9.1, and neither one of them will have a free gem.To begin with, any crafted legendary should hold a gem slot. And if you add one for free, do so in all of them, not random pieces.
