They can't help themselves, they need to get the daily chore itchy scratched in one way or another. It will take a long time to detox people (and themselves) from what they started with Legion.
10% extra isn't going to motivate me to leave valdrakken.
Just focus on 10.1, these minor patches are lame as hell, last one was just a balance patch with a leftover event that didn't make it on launch.
If we have daily activities: People complain they just want us to sub and be logged inIf we get fewer daily activities: People complain that they are paying a monthly fee for a game with nothing to doThat's out of the way ^^ lol. Forbidden Reach is supposed to be the next tie over until next content patch with the new zone and raid right? While I think the overflow rewards above a bit steep, that is because I have not been farming it (like some people have.) That being said, the farm for overflow will take some time, but you have to understand that forbidden reach is likely going to award that on almost a constant basis. We likely will have some sort of elemental invasion attempting to thwart our landing on the shores. That plus the normal invasions, plus the future invasion. Overflow is easy to obtain, just lengthy to rack up. Its not very different than other expansions, we have been asking for fewer and fewer currencies each xpac. Well maybe this is our answer, less currencies, but more required the further the xpac goes.Nethershards from Legion and the tokens from SL (pre-patch event) I had sooo many of each that it seemed nearly infinite, what I had. The tokens in SL only awarded so many things then they were just hoarding in my tab for no reason. (Geist pets yes.) Nethershards... They were the same and then given a redefined purpose on broken shore. (That was nice, I had a bit of an advantage in terms of resource since I farmed them early on so much.) (Think they were called nethershards)
damn that's a lot of currency for a dragon riding skin
as i can see from comments, people here have never tested forbitten reach on ptr, you get Elemental Overflow so fast over there...
Apologies if this seems dumb. Was it stated somewhere that reputation ranks will be increasing in 10.0.7?
Lol at placeholder artwork. Nice catch-up tool though.
Is it odd to anyone else that the Faction hub is in the Forbidden Reach and not Valdrakken?
Oh look, yet ANOTHER addition to dragonflight catered to world quest heroes. Can we please get some meaningful side content? Primal storms, elemental invasion, the hunt, the siege the community feast are all shallow-surface level "content" that offer no challenge or satisfying gameplay. So tired of these impossible-to-lose systems that serve no purpose to raider/m+ players other than a carrot on a stick chance for a spark drop.
these prices are insane
I'll do the achievements, then never do it again. I'm already max renown with all four factions, and there is zero incentive to actually hit paragon due to the paragon rewards just being a little bit of pocket change as a "Thanks for continuing to play" kind of reward. This is nice for those who didn't mindlessly grind their butts off for zero payoff like players such as myself though.
Well this greatly helps, can't wait to see the complaints on this one!
Dailies are a step backwards from the move to half-weekly resets, which are far more friendly to a working-age player. If players are bored/desperate to get rep on an alt, there must be far easier ways of doing this, for example: BoA tabbards, that work for WQ, dungeons, Raids & PvP. If they have that much time on their hands, then go play a different game too (they've already paid for their sub, so it's not going to drive any extra revenue).Itty bitty gameplay that adds nothing in the way of "fun" but DOES add another "chore" to a to-do list.
This patch needs a little raid.Like Bronze Dragonflight raid - relive the escape of Raz from his tomb or help the Drakthyr get into stasis.
10k overflow seems a tad much considering....
