Week 5 and still there are people who don't get that delves are targeted at solo casual players and are no means to gear up your raid/m+ chars (although the boost is neat). So the weekly "only" yields champion track gear? Well, same goes for TW weekly dungeons. The difficulty of those is far above T1 delves (which are the lowest required for this one). Champion gear is fine - for alts or people just doing solo content aka the target group.
The 3 delves research quest showed up for me AGAIN today. Weird.
zekvirs lair counts :)

i feel like those weekly caches should always reward Myth track.cuz in the end, it would - besides the tryhard elitists - exclusively motivate players to get into challenging content. if not - who cares - besides tryhard elitists - if my mum gets myth track lvl over months from weekly caches?
Turning in A Call to Delves first removes the Khaz Algar delves research quest from your log. Likely a bug, but very annoying. So, players might lose out on one of these rewards because of it. Already put in a bug report, so here's hoping it gets fixed.
Slightly annoying that the 3 delves quest apparently requires three unique delves. No spamming Zekvir's Lair for that one.

Delves are mad fun. I even think it's a fine reward. It does feel like we are getting too many events and there should be some that are always up like pvp or even an overlap of 2 weeklies to double the likelihood of seeing some events. I don't want to see any events go away and even feel we need some more for pvp players tbh but some kind of streamlined approach where we can keep enjoying these events but not have months between m plus weeklies for example would be awesome.
"Free". It's not "free". You still have to do the brain dead content before you get it, so your time is the cost.
This would explain why 2 of my characters seemed to have no weekly quest this week. I'm guessing it's from the explorer's tent area (not logged in to check at the moment) rather than the area with Faelin, where we had the World Soul quest? I would far rather have that quest, which gave us a choice of what to do, than be shoe-horned into doing delves, especially as I've not yet done above a tier 4, so Bran is stuck at level 15. Regarding who this content is for, Morgan Day once said that Casual players make up more than half the player base. Whether this is based on content difficulty (e.g. not higher than LfR or not higher than Normal Raids) or content type (e.g. no group content) isn't clear. Blizzard don't release figures any more.Either way, I'm definitely a Casual player nowadays (non-raiding - so far, I'll eventually gear up one of my 3 L80s to do the weekly Guild Saturday night casual raid, no M+, and definitely no PvP) . The most group content I've done is the 1-minute or less Coren Direbrew for the Brewfest Remote and a couple of delves with a friend who still plays.Regarding "what do Casual players do" - level professions, World Quests for slow gearing, exploring, doing Lore Master and other non-raid achievements, mount collecting, levelling alts (I have over 50, 40 of them at 70+), running old dungeons for transmog gear. There's plenty to do that doesn't involve massive time commitment, research and (still) nimble brain and fingers.
