I'm gonna create a YouTube channel with a friend where he and I discuss the things that Dratnos and Tettles discuss about the news they read on wowhead, in the hopes that my videos then get linked after these posts. Will be a never ending "content" cycle. It will be glorious.
Re: Inspiration Catalyst changesI love the change. If you play the game (probably similar to the weekly quest in Zereth Mortis), there is no change for you and you get charges granted account-wide with no currency cost to use them. The fact the community is already complaining how they once again have to play the game for BAD LUCK tier pieces, it absolutely hilarious to me. You don't need/deserve tier pieces if you can't be bothered to do a weekly quest. I have seen a good amount of tier drop from all raid difficulties and in the Vault, but I am sure people complaining see the Vault as their main and/or only source of tier.
All I am hearing is you can only heal with a Disc Priest or a Pally now... :P
I definitely prefer the weekly quests over the currency power for the catalyst and if the returning players don't get their tier early, they don't get it because they were busy with other games, work, or hobbies. The catch up mechanic will solve that like usual. They had the auto charge up for the catalyst later for this catalyst too after as well. I do prefer the max charges to hit 8 so we have 2 4 sets if anything. 1 raid and 1 PvP if we do both. The Health and damage changes i like. It will allow the healers to react more often to dps or tanks taking heavy damage without them dying instantly I'm hoping.I'm still gonna heal as a Priest or Monk probably. I don't know yet as a Shaman.
Hope this doesn’t feel like when Cata came out and was unfun for most healers. That’s what the game needs, a dearth of healers because it’s become more of a slog..
I never used the catalyst because I was gearing via dungeons raids out door content.. and I got my set pretty fast in zm.. so there is really no need for it.
I've expressed concern about the lower numbers. I thought the healing spells were being nerfed so people will be forced into playing Preservation Evokers. (Let's be honest. They might start out as cool; they're going to into a meme class.) I'm glad that's not the case albeit I don't know where that comment about Holy Paladins came from. I really don't because getting to level 35 was a such struggle. That and every tune I've seen for that spec has only been a nerf. Then again, one of them flat out said that they don't like too many Boomkins in raid. (Sorry, I was taking a survey.) I guess it wasn't bad enough that they only seem to get nerfs. Still, I imagine he probably would want a similar comment being said about his main with no explanation included, or it was the same guy who didn't see any balancing issues since he stayed rerolling a DK for 9 years. On another note, I'm glad the latter half of the video was better. And I even think that was a good point about why the Creation Catalyst isn't available right off the bat. It should go without saying that players will blaze through a new expac then call it boring.
