If they turned the world into a big "germany"...everyone would believe he was right. Since you wanna go with real world...EUA did a lot bad stuff till now (japan, iran, etc etc) and they are always the good guys, always fu**** up the world (for oil most of the times)...but they are the good ones...No they aren'tMaybe history books and movies will tell that, but they aren't in any way "good guys", above entertainment perspectiveAnyone with more than 3 braincells understands how both sides are bad
Wow... It really feels like that timeline's Xe'ra went to Draenor after the Burning Legion got defeated, to expand her army of the Light. It's bound to at least be a Naaru much like her.
Ertzak you really can't decide if you talk about objective good people, or subjective onesUnderstand the difference and pick a side
You guys are too worled up because blizzard are going to a side that "you can use the light for evil"..come one, stop being naive and believing light = good, dark = bad...this is so..MEDIEVAL AGE -_-...it's their story...i don't like the horde being painted bad for over 2-3 expansions, but they were...internet kids (even the ones with 30+ years) are getting really annoying
Someone stop Blizzard! They are pulling a 'George Lucas' on the Warcraft franchise. What in the world is happening? This makes Void Elves look like the greatest fantasy ever written by comparison.
Don't see why people are bashing this plot so much. Messing with the timeline aside (that part is stupid), we have:1. The Orcs not being the initiators of a conflict, which is a nice change of pace.2. The Draenei not being the cutesy-good-guys is also a good change of pace.3. The Light being developed as the corruptive and dangerous force it is is also great. Also, worth noting:1. The Draenei are not immune to corruption. Remember the Eredar (notably Kiljaeden and Archimonde)?2. On that matter, countless good characters have been corrupted before. Arthas, Sargeras, pretty much every Titan-forged... only now the Light is the culprit for once.3. Not having a common foe / bigger threat frequently ignites inner conflicts. BfA is all about this.4. "The Draenei/Light are always good" is a false statement. If you want it to be true, you don't want a good storyline, you want a fairytale. Warcraft has always been more than that.Personally, i think it'd be fun if they used this idea on a future expansion, and made Naarus or a Light fanatical cult the enemies. Demons and Undeads are old already, and we can't fight Old Gods forever.
"light cannot be evil, is a retconet misfortune"Cough, cough..... Scarlet Crusade Close my case
